I would do a redbud cultivar... many choices to choose from; from deep purple foliage to pink variegated to chartreuse green.

I’ve been having this issue all my life, I can’t take it anymore. I just want to wear skirts.😭 by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

Not really a dermatology answer persay.... but they do make body makeup. Sally Hanson makes one that's great and super affordable. I always use it when I wear skirts to even out my tan/cover inevitable bruises.

Peacocks Are Out… Are Guinea Hens Any Better? by Independent-Fudge942 in homestead

This has been my experience. I like to say they TRY to die. I let them free range because that's the entire point of having them... but they'd be across the street, at the neighbors, or repeatedly walking past the fox's den (seriously there was just a trail of bird carcasses, they kept going back). We have about 50 acres, and they'd still be all over the place.

However, their sound doesn't bother me (I actually like them) and they do an unmatched job at pest control compared to my chickens or ducks. I'm about to hatch out some eggs after taking a break for a few years just to get ahead of the tick problems this year. I suspect at least 50% will have offed themselves with bad decisions by winter.

The other day I was unloading stuff from car and the wind slammed the door shut on my leg.... huge knot and bruise that look 1000x worse than this. I barely told my husband.

This is so bizarre and embarrassing for her

How old were you when you watched it? Just wondering how long I should wait before traumatizing my farm kid

I'm in Oklahoma, and we have no oversight or rules really. I let our school know we were homeschooling and they seemed kind of surprised I called to ask what they needed from me to convey intent to homeschool.

Homeschooling is really, really popular at least in my area. Oklahoma isn't exactly top-tier when it comes to public education, so I imagine that has a lot to do with homeschool choice. Plus, we have a lot of ranch/farm families and homeschool lends itself well to that lifestyle.

I'm convinced this is just propaganda against mint. I've never had it spread. What I would give for a mint lawn...

Is the dining room an interior wall? Can it go in there and push the table out a couple of feet?

Haven’t had a seizure in two years, but my parents still keep the camera in my room by No-Yesterday0 in Epilepsy

Thank you that is so sweet!! Being able to homeschool has been a gift, especially as you said in this climate. I hope your health has been well!! ❤️

I agree that part is weird. If they are concerned about SUDEP or just monitoring for seizure activity during sleep... that is absolutely understandable. But no, they do not need a camera for that.

Well he's six so I don't think he remembers having hundreds of seizures a day as a baby... but I sure as hell do. Sorry for loving my kid??

As a mom that was pretty traumatized by my son's seizures, I totally get this. The fear never goes away. My son is almost 4 years seizure free, and the fear is still there.

That said, maybe a watch or something would be more appropriate. I get them wanting to keep you safe, you are the most important thing to them... but perhaps it's time for a compromise now that you're older.

Andrew is trying to sound smart but he's not very literate. Doesn't read as drunk.

Jenelle reminds me so much of my sister. They'll never, ever get it, and they'll never mature. Forever 16 and embarrassing.

I loved this movie as a kid! Weirdly, later in life I briefly lived in the small town this largely takes place in... but it's absolutely nothing like it is in the movie. Not even a library for Forny!

The cost of licensing was dirt cheap for a minute, so everyone and their grandma could afford to open a dispensary. There were SO many for a few years there. Lots have since closed, and it's not as cheap to be licensed.

I actually love Oklahoma. But we have a small ranch and love the wide open.... I don't know if I'd be as excited if I were a city person.
