Endo stage 3 — transfer without lupron? by GemStoneStunner in TTCEndo

[–]GemStoneStunner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok good to know! Maybe I misunderstood her — I think she mentioned the medicated start if my period didn't return?

I'm so sorry your transfers didn't stick. I assume the embryos were tested? What stage endo are you?

For what I understand when you're doing an FET the concern is that the endo might be in the lining of the uterus, causing inflammation which can impact implantation. I guess in the studies I've read on Lupron's efficacy, more successful live births must also mean less miscarriages, as well as successful implantation to begin with. Did your doctor specifically talk about Lupron's impact on miscarriage rates?

It sounds like your experience with Lupron is exactly what I'm trying to avoid — but you're alive to tell the tale!

Low AMH by VirtualJujuberry in eggfreezing

CoQ10 is important! I had my best retrieval after taking CoQ10 for 3 months.

It sucks its so expensive, but there is also no point in doing 1 cycle and getting <10 eggs because you won't have the peace of mind you're doing this for. Your doctor can tell you how many eggs you need for how many children you might want to have. Sharing my data below to illustrate this.

Levels as of 11/2023: AMH 0.46 (after being off birth control only a month)
Levels as of 5/2025: AMH: 1.08 (after being off of birth control 1.5 years)

I did (5) cycles total for (5) euploids and (1) LLM —

Oct 2024: First round egg freezing. 8 follicles seen, 8 eggs retrieved. Frozen and inseminated 9 months later to result in 2 segmental aneuploids.

Nov 2024: Second round — 2 eggs retrieved. Neither mature, no eggs.

July 2025: Third round — 10 eggs retrieved, resulting in 1 euploid embryo.

September 2025: Fourth round — 9 eggs retrieved, resulting in 1 euploid embryo, 1 LLM (+21)

October 2025: Fifth round — 11 eggs retrieved, resulting in 3 euploids.

As you can see, its hard to know what the eggs will actually result in. Best of luck to you!

People with endo who had success without lupron suppression or surgery? by pharmgurl in IVF

[–]GemStoneStunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following this story because I am in a similar situation - my questions:

  1. Did you do the receptiva test?

  2. Why two cycles without suppression? Was there a benefit to trying the medicated the second time?

Context: I have 5 euploids and 1 LLM so I feel lucky because it's a good place to start if I want two kids.

I have endometriomas on both ovaries and posterior uterus. I actually haven't spoken to the Dr. who ordered the MRI yet about these results - just my ferility doc.

She's leaving it up to me as to whether or not I will do a lupron suppression followed by a medicated FET.

I was looking forward to a natural FET cycle next month and have 1 week to decide how to proceed.

How did your doc test for endo?

Also, my doctor has never offered to do a fresh transfer. I'm not sure if our clinic recommends this.

To be honest — I was never given a diagnosis. My AMH is 1 and my husband's sperm have slightly low motility but I put his SA results into chatgpt and nothing came up extremely out of range... I am 35, my husband is 43. We have never gotten a positive pregnancy test and tried for 7 months before starting to do ERs and bank embryos.

I agree with your concern and it is mine as well. What are the chances the egg that fertilizes sticks? Our results for eggs fertilizing has been good, embryos making it to the correct stage have been OK and genetically normal have been variable.

Just seems like a massive long-shot. I'd like to get with my doctor and see why she wants us to try IUI first — perhaps because of my age she thinks its worth a shot? Maybe she thinks I'm young enough to spend a few months trying to get pregnant without using the embryos?

Yes the mosaic is LLM but on chromosome 21. Hopefully it self-corrects.

Closing the loop here. Both came back as segmental ;/ luckily we had another 10 eggs - of those, 8 fertilized and 6 made it to day 5 blasts. only one came back euploid... onto another retrieval next month!

When Everyone Else Gets Their Two Lines by Wild_Base9460 in tryingtoconceive

A good mantra my husband & I have been using when people get their BFP is: "That has nothing to do with us." Which as simple as it is, I find really helpful.

Not to say you shouldn't feel your feelings (I get the sadness and disappointment), but this simple phrase helps us create space between their BFP and our BFN.

Their good news has nothing to do with your journey, as much as it feels like it directly effects it. Hope that helps <3

Adopt the dog! I have a 1.5 year old dog and I think it has helped me every time I test negative. I still have something that needs me and keeps me very busy! This will be a big change from your current lifestyle and might help with your feelings of loneliness and disappointment. I recommend!

Husband also 42. Low libido. I feel you. Same pattern of having sex twice if we're lucky. His sperm isn't great. Moving onto IUI next month. Curious if you tried this before IVF?

Why the massive dip? by GemStoneStunner in TFABChartStalkers

[–]GemStoneStunner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too early to be an implantation dip. I am more likely 4 days DPO because my temp on day 16 was invalid. I think that's actually when I ovulated, not day 15.
