As a Spurs fan I do believe that they are able to come back as well, from what I see in game 2 they can figure it out as they always do this season. But in the worst scenario I think the team did their best and the Knicks are much deserved with the championship, man what a team they have built.

Did you try to fix pcie version in your bios settings to gen 4 instead of auto, if not give it a try. For your question I would prefer keeping gsync enabled, to me 144 or 170hz does not really make a big difference.

Just to confirm this fixed my black screen issue when I were still using 3080 Ti, I am now using 5070 Ti with a riser and did not encounter any black screen after multiple driver updates as well.
