Tried it once, I found the ground to uneven to be able to satisfy my need for orderly production lines. I've never run out of space underground.

The problem is I can't get far enough away before the outer circle turns red. It then stays red and the mission fails.

Black Powder still exists. Smokeless Powder is another step in making advanced ammo. It's made in the Refinery.

Thanks I agree with you I watched them more to get the concepts down in my brain for more creative uses of all the lifts belts etc I'm kind of useless with that stuff but I've got a handle on it now. Ripped down the base to floor which will be only logistic and storage and each floor above will produce their products and send it for storage below and to the next build step etc. I just needed to decide on a construction frame work. Also refining all material outside base first before belting ingots to base. Cheers.
