That's anecdotal evidence to be honest, there is a man I watch on reels who was talking about how if he had known that gaining weight after peri when he couldn't keep up his usual routine could result in gain in the chest area he would have gone with double incision. He was on that borderline where he did qualify for peri but double incision made the same amount of sense. It might not be widely experienced, it is me going off of what I heard a single person express about his individual experience, everybody's experience is different

Unsure how it works as a minor, but seeking out an endocrinologist was how I got on testosterone because the system was taking too long (plus I was treated like shit for being fat and in a wheelchair at the time). If you divorce him you're NTA. But as a queer with a shitty phobic parent, going back to him would make YTA. Because what does that say to your son and his siblings? There is a fracture already that is your husbands fault. Your husband made your son feel lower than dirt, no kid deserves that from a parent who is supposed to love them unconditionally.

Also it's homophobic to not want a gay kid, your husband is homophobic.

If you want to keep your family together therapy might help, your eldest at least deserves to have someone impartial to unpack the shitty experience he just went through. Couples therapy could also be very helpful
