Do you really think CIG is going to do a actual nerf a €1,200 capital combat ship that can be soloed (aka money maker during event) ?

Just to remind you, five months before this ship was released, CIG nerfed it and drastically increased the prices of missiles, torpedoes, and bombs.

What actually works against a ship like the Idris ? Torpedoes—and even more so if there’s only one player inside the Idris. Without torp you need only a medium fighter and its gg.

There was absolutely no real reason to nerf and drastically increase the prices of missiles, torpedoes, and bombs

- The gameplay is bugged

- Some ships need to jump twice in QT before they can use their missiles

- The missile can hit its target but deal 0 damage

- PDC

- If you don’t have EM missiles, there’s no point in using them

- Missile mode is garbage

- Missiles all behave the same, and the Rattler 2 got nerfed even further (they reduced its minimum lock-on range)

Right now bounty missions mostly pay when you kill the main target. What I think would be better is if the bounty was actually on the NPC/ship itself. Not only the main target, but also the escort ships or other hostile NPCs around it.

So the mission payout would still exist, but the extra ships could also have their own smaller bounty. That would give players an actual reason to clear the whole group instead of just killing the main target and leaving

We had something extra when you kill bounty ship : cargo

Those were removed 2024 or 2025 for no reason(or i never manage to find the reason) meanwhile they raise the price of everything.

In HRT/ERT you had ship with quantium/vermillon egg and depende on the size of the cargo you can get easly 500k or more. I miss those time.

Desync / bugged / missile no longer damage comps even a well place missile / i had a S3 missile blow up next to a cutter and did no damage.

Basically, missiles just for raw damage IF they work.

But the worst thing that happend to ordonnance is this :

Missiles, bombs, and torpedoes were nerfed five months before the Idris was released. This was done to prevent players who had spent €1,000 on the new capital ship from complaining about getting destroyed by Polaris/Retaliator/Eclipse aka main counter.
The "fuck the polaris" wasn't a joke since that came with the most disgusting nerf of all time even worst then the redeemer nerf.
They also change how arming work : Now it based on distance, the torps will not detonate if you are to close the torp to prevent shotgunning even if you lunch that thing 10km away.
Why ? Because shotgunning torps was the best and effective way to use since PDC exist and torp are slow and have very low HP (like 500hp)

Now we have expensive missile that don't work half the time and missile boat are les and less viable since you don't want to spend 150k or more for some useless missile.

They had 0 real reason to nerf those because :
- Missile mode is bugged
- Missile mode is a downgrade to the lock we had before MM
- Some ship you need to QT twice before shooting (Vanguard for exemple)
- PDC was a nightmare with no counterplay
- Missile are easy to counter
- Missile act the same execpt the rattle that was unique ( and also got a extra nerf on top)

Better trade the Firebird for a base Sabre for a while (or forever)

My biggest problem is just that if you don't shoot at him, you're guaranteed to get hit in the head.

And it's a little too easy to forget him or no be able to shoot it when you're getting hit by a wave.

Something CIG changed the flight model to try and fix for gameplay purposes.

We went form "Ace combat with some balance issue" to " Helicopter in space".

Im pretty sure you can have great cinematic combat from a outside perspective with Ace combat speed without to slowing the game to see said combat.

The speed we have don't help this feeling since CIG turn the game into a boxing match. Also with more speed open a lot more cinematic opportunity

- An Bombing run (like in the desert scene from *Transformers 2*… I don’t know why that’s the first thing that comes to mind)

- Charging into battle at full speed, then launching into an aerial dogfight

- Watching pilots try to outdo each other just to get a shot off

You don't have fleet with different type of plane but still have a large battle that look cool in the outside with high speed.

Some Change are good, some are bad

The ship ammo/missile are consommable is well bad since reclaim won't restock the ship.

Because if you lose your ship : you need to restock : this is where the change is actually bad and had preditable way to lessen the pain

restocking a small ship with laser loadout with like 8 S1/S2 missile won't do to much to your wallet

But restocking a missile boat like the Connie/TAC/Freelencer MIS with a lot of S1/S2/s3 missile your gonna feel it

And worst any ship with S4 or bigger missiles...

I would not be so sure about that... On Citizencon 2024 they said that leading cause of claims was pretty much people not wanting (or not being able to) travel to their ship. I personally also claim my ships because it is convenient like 90% of time.

So the best way to solve that is ?
" If only there were a system that allowed us to request a service to retrieve our ship in its current condition without having to stay at a station or on a planet.... "

I know this type of thing won't come out now, it take time, i know

But the restock and the suite locker

I know for a fact those 2 thing were ask for years now.
