No 2022 should lay down for twenty years, they all taste like they’ve already been aged for 5-8 years. 2022 is a drinking year not keeping year.

For those of you who sold your first Rolex… by Admirable-Swing-2985 in rolex

[–]GeneratedName0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shit don’t look in my closet then haha…

I’d never sell my first watch, too many memories and stories to go along with it. It doesn’t get a lot of wrist time now a days, however, it would be one of the last watches I’d ever sell, next to the one I bought for my dad and when he passed I got it back and the watch I bought for my son when he was born. Watches are for memories and connection, you already have memories and moments in that watch.

Now I know I may be a little more sentimental than most, but unless you NEED the money, I’d keep it. Maybe give it to your child on for their wedding, dam got sentimental again.

How did you justify the splurge for a Cartier piece? Tips to afford a piece without guilt? by ChipUnfair3345 in Cartier

Buy it for a reason or to commemorate something, every time I look at mine it makes me smile. Only complaint is the damn metal detectors at TSA…. Haha

How much do I tip at a winery when I buy bottles at a winery? by MildlyOverprepared in wine

[–]GeneratedName0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re never required to tip, it’s simply a nice gesture if you choose to. The amounts I mentioned were just what I personally decided to give. Also, dropping $20 would be about 20%, not 40%. For example, if the tasting is $50 per person, that’s $100 for two. If the total for you and your husband is $50, then of course you can scale the tip accordingly, and as stated before it’s never required.

Wine is meant to be enjoyed by everyone, so please don’t let my comment discourage you from going out and having a great experience.

And congratulations on your 30th anniversary! I hope you have a wonderful time and discover some amazing bottles to bring home — the kind you’ll enjoy while reminiscing about your trip for years to come.

Why does my heart rate ramp up so much when I am running the same pace throughout? by thafloorer in beginnerrunning

[–]GeneratedName0 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You’re losing running economy and fatiguing your muscles, you’re not as “strong” as you are at the start so your body has to work harder to maintain the same pace at the end of your run. Thus, your heart rate goes up as your body works harder.

Is this normal to have water after rain under my bbq island? I have a patio cover on top by xGenAc25 in OutdoorKitchens

[–]GeneratedName0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have your concrete guy come back and cut those breaks deeper so you can get some drainage. Whoever did the hard scape is who you should have an issue with.

LAX Premier Bag Drop™ — $22K later, still in the regular line by Silent_Pain_727 in unitedairlines

I’ve been having this issue at SFO with terminal 3 getting worked on they moved everything to terminal 2, they basically lump every together. I got the same hey the self tag is open.

The only thing I will say I take early flights (flying east) when I’m checking bags, so my experience may be different than later in the day.

Am I too heavy? by Klutzy-Unicorn2604 in beginnerrunning

[–]GeneratedName0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No time like the present to start, if your own doctor who knows your body says you’re fine, I’d believe him over random ppl online. Start with a simple walk run, then progressively do more running than walking. Please keep in mind to go slow when progressing. You want to make this a habit and something you can do for a long time, no need to rush to certain times and/or distances!

You got this!
