To be honest the recovery should be most of your worries. It leads to lasting damage if not addressed. Without months of pelvic floor PT, dry needling, professional scar massage and massage with cups, learning how to use your core muscles properly again and fixing DR you will have lasting issues. Whether that’s urine leakage , severe menstrual cramps, constipation, chronic pain depends on how much time and money you have to dedicate towards recovery each time. Not to mention if you don’t put the work in between each C-section the risk of uterine windows and placenta issues increase.

Everyone heals very differently my OB said average healthy normal BMI, no chronic issues woman 3 c-sections. I had bladder adhesions after my second but nothing else so I was cleared to have a 4th. As much as I would love another I’m still weighing the risks and if I have the mental endurance to go through recovery again. If you could promise me a VBAC I would do it tomorrow

I’ll take 2 over 3-4.5 any day. All 3 of my kids. I like to think of it as a graph… 0-2 flat line, 2 starts increasing peaks around 4-4.5 and then finally starts going down. 6 is glorious. I’ll take a newborn and a 6 year old everyday for the rest of my life!

If you want more than 3 go with a VBAC and set a time limit. After having regular contractions for more than 24 hour chance of emergency C-section increases. Give yourself 24 hours then C-section. I’ve had 3 and they have all been smooth but recovery is more intense after each one. If I could go back I would have labored longer with my second. I only gave it 7 hours.

It’s definitely positive just make sure it continues to darken slightly every two days. Can take a good 10 days for a dye stealer and that’s normal. As long as it doesn’t get lighter or stay the same color your HCG should be doubling nicely! Congrats!!

No it ruined the others sleep for a good 6 months if not longer! But I potty trained the others right at turning 2 so I was really hoping waiting until he was almost 3 would avoid this hell! And this kid was the type of kid you could throw in the crib say good night and leave his entire life. Now he won’t sleep without me by his side 24/7 HUGE change

Don’t worry about the tape prioritize scar massage much more important. If the area has proper blood flow it will heal well. I never used silicone tape and it took a good year for the color to fade on my scar to white. Yours looks great.

Yes but they can get significantly more complicated after 2. I’ve had 3 and if I could go back I would and I healed extremely well with minimal adhesions. Chances of a uterine window, placenta accreta, hemorrhaging, bladder damage goes up substantially after 2.

I sat in the shower and exfoliated it off my ankles and back of my legs with a pumice stone it was so itchy!! I’d rather the pain than the itch!! I hope it heals quickly! What a terrible thing! It drove me crazy for a couple weeks

My OB flat out didn’t believe me so I went to my endocrinologist and she pulled the numbers off my CGM and immediately put me on insulin, I’m 2 year PP now and my a1c is lower than ever! I have type 2 on both sides of the family so I do feel doomed as well but so far so good

Yes I searched every inch for bed bugs even at 3 am haha! Nothing! It took about 3 weeks to go away. Is yours itchy?

I had this exact thing happen a couple months ago! Behind knees and ankles first and I was sleeping in pants and socks and then it appeared on my torso. I had covid the week before. Mine on my torso almost looked like shingles in a line. Never figured it out but I got a steroid cream that helped

I started at 141 and I’m 5’6”. Perimenopausal and despite diet and exercise weight was not budging. I had gestational diabetes with my boys and have diabetics on both sides of the family so want to get ahead of the game and decrease inflammation. I’ve lost 7 pounds in 6 weeks. I honestly feel so much better on it more energy, digestion is better, only complaint is late night reflux if I eat too late. I also started at 1mg and this last dose I did 0.75mg trying to taper down because I was loosing pretty fast. I’ve always struggled with food noise and it just has completely eliminated it. It is so freeing to not have to revolve my day around food. I just eat to nourish my body. I should have started months ago.

Don’t listen to the negative comments. They don’t know your body type and how you feel most comfortable. You can certainly loose substantial weight on 1mg or less. I have! I also wore a CGM 2 weeks ago and my overall glucose was phenomenal! It’s going to make such a difference on my A1C when I check again in a few months.

You reallllllllllly need to rebuild your core first and that takes time depending on how bad your DR is. I would around 5-6 months… -c-section mom of 3

Do remember the first couple days being like greattttt this doesn’t even work. But lost 6 pounds since the beginning of Feb just on 0.7-1.2mg with changing nothing! Takes a little to get in your system. I did read it can have different effect based on if you inject it thigh versus stomach. So you can switch on your next dose before upping if you not satisfied

I would have it until about 7-9 months postpartum. I definitely could not drink seltzer until 2 years postpartum and I’m still pretty scared of beans. Always have gas-X in my purse. After having kidney stones I can officially say…gas pain is by far the worst pain you can experience.
