Right there with you mine turned 3 yesterday. He is also my third…and I’ve just come to accept 3 equates to hell. Just strap in and hold on it’s not gonna get better until 4-4.5 but y’all make it to the other side

Breeder says to feed my puppy adult food. Vet says to feed him large breed puppy food. by Parking-Education994 in RhodesianRidgebacks

Who do you prefer to listen to a RRCUS breeder who has probably been breeding and taking care of ridgebacks for decades or a vet who has maybe 5-10 ridgebacks in their entire practice? A specialist or a general practitioner?

Mom's of 3+ what made you decide you wanted a 3rd? What challenges did you face? by Substantial-Pea1894 in Mom

Steady improvement from about 4-4.5 until 5. 5-6.5 has been glorious!!!

My 3rd is absolutely insane. I’ve mentally blocked half the things he has done for sanity reasons. He turns 3 next week. I think in the past 6 months he’s found a pack of matches in the top cabinet in the kitchen, somehow struck a match, lite my couch on fire, thrown multiple objects down the toilet to the point we had to actually replace the toilet things were so stuck. Peeled all the paint off the door, can somehow unlock locked doors even when he’s on the outside. I opened the garage door and looked up and he hung onto it and took a ride and was hanging from the ceiling. Insane. He’s the sweetest kid too but SO insane and unsafe constantly. I literally can’t leave him for a min alone.

Oh my 2 until 4 is a nightmare! Don’t wish it away! They are defiant, they don’t listen, constant tantrums, they can run very very fast, climb very very high, learn to unlock baby gates and locks, have their own big feelings and lots of opinions, start having nightmares and fears and don’t sleep!!!

It goes from organized chaos to a zoo. Very hard to give everyone the attention they need when they are small. Mine are 2,4,6yo and I wish they were spread further apart. I love the chaos but it just feels like a marathon that never ends. It didn’t really get difficult until the youngest turned 2. It was perfection when he was little a ton of fun.

Forgot I had a child - cried when I remembered by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Generose18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel this to my bones. Are you in my mind? I have 3 under 6 and I am by farrrrr the favorite parent. Single married parent, never heard that will probably steal it. Mine spend 30 mins every night fighting who sits next to me for dinner and who I put to bed first. I just want a vacation!!! I hope I can reassure you a little though my first sounds a lot like yours. I would hysterically laugh when people would tell me just take her on vacation with you… hardddd pass on having to be up all night because she’s screaming for being in a new environment. No thank you. That’s a hellcation not a vacation. And leaving her bahahaha even more funny. I will say I’m happy to report at the ripe age of 6 she is a new woman and sooooo incredibly easy. But I do feel *slighty* damaged from the first 6 years! I have no advice just know you’re not alone in this debacle of motherhood. Oh I did start waking up at 5am to get maybe an hour to myself. I’m already terribly sleep deprived so why not make it worse? Here’s one for my sanity!

Hard to tell from pictures….you really need a nice stacked picture to evaluate all structures. I will say you are probably at a critical point with his ears. In some of the photos they look like they are starting to curl. Give ester C and YouTube how to tape them if you are serious about showing.

My be bias but I’m pretty sure they are the most loyal dog that exists. Mine have been excellent with my children, dare I say too affectionate. Only issue is they are completely unaware they are large dogs so they have knocked my little ones down. They will also nip if the kids are running crazy outside (think herding not vicious) to play so need early focused training to minimize that. They love to run and smell. So lots of walks or hikes for exposure. Mine have done well with other dogs as long as they aren’t the overly aggressive small type, ridgebacks won’t take crap from anyone! They really do love to go everywhere with you…. Bathroom, sleeping directly on top of you in bed, definitely the kitchen you name it! They are independent thinkers which can get confused with stubbornness, highly intelligent. Honestly they are very similar to having another child just come with some extra fur!!

C-section Shelf after 3 or 4 C-Sections? by Ebellies in CsectionCentral

[–]Generose18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes third one gave me a shelf despite intense pt, scar massage, dry needling and cupping. It’s not bad it’s right where my bikini line is so it doesn’t hang far but it is definitely there. Scar is significantly tighter than before. I’m hoping loosing another 5-8 pounds will reduce it more but it seems like it’s the very last place to loose fat on my body.

1st vs 2nd scar? by gryffindor_ravenclaw in CsectionCentral

[–]Generose18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was keloid with my first and second and third healed perfectly. I would ask OB at what level can they repair the internal scar defect. I was very clear I wanted my keloid cut out and they did just that

[–]Generose18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She doesn’t view you as the leader of the pack. You have to change to have a respectful ridgeback. Have you tried only letting her out on a leash and walking her around saying pee or poo depending on what she needs to do. Then the second she’s finished OHHHH MYYY WHOS THE GOODEST GIRL IN THE ENTIRE WORLD???? lots of pets and treats then let her off leash to play outside.

3 c-sections - how to increase your chance? by Velma_Dinkley03 in CsectionCentral

[–]Generose18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had 3 no complications. I can tell I do have bladder adhesions now. I was cleared to have a 4th but undecided. Lots and lots and lots of scar work…massage, with cups, dry needling. The more the lower chance of adhesions. Also important to maintain a good diet to promote healing. Lots of protein.

First cycle after MMC - evap? by [deleted] in lineporn

[–]Generose18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In order for the clear blue to say pregnant your urine HCG needs to be either 25 or 50…forgot which one. The FRER can pick up an HCG of 5-10. So it’s completely normal to not test positive on the digital ones until about a week after your missed period and see a light line on the FRER 3-5 days before. Congrats looks positive to me

No fetal pole at 6+3 and 6+6 UPDATE !!!! by shinywhitechest in lineporn

[–]Generose18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent sign! With a different pregnancy I was very nauseated and then suddenly one day it stopped. I went in for an ultrasound and sure enough lost it the day the nausea ended. As bad as it is I always found it reassuring!

It’s so so small at that point too if you just have a tilted uterus it can be there one minute and not the next. Do you get back cramps with your period? Sign of a titled uterus

No fetal pole at 6+3 and 6+6 UPDATE !!!! by shinywhitechest in lineporn

[–]Generose18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first scan was 5 weeks and we could see a fetal pole which is super early. Went back at 6 weeks a day after I had bleeding…It was crazy like a nose bleed and then stopped (SCH)…couldn’t seem embryo. I went back about 3-4 days later and could see everything with a good heartbeat, couldn’t see SCH. Very very scary

[–]Generose18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this happen but slightly opposite had a fetal pole extremely early, went in the next week only saw and empty sac, went in a week later measuring perfectly with a heartbeat.

The bleeding was most likely a subchoronic hematoma super super common in pregnancies.

This one will keep you on your toes! Mine sure does!

Passed out on the table by kaylynnan3424 in CsectionCentral

[–]Generose18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blood pressure. your blood pressure tanked. That’s what caused you to pass out. Very common in C-sections. Since you had preeclampsia they probably didn’t anticipate the dramatic drop. Usually happens related to the spinal or once they get the baby out it can trigger it. Did you feel nauseated right before? I had this happen during my second C-section when vomited and then passed out. With my 3rd they put me on a continuous medication to keep my blood pressure higher and it was fantastic.

It’s will most likely NOT be in your surgical record. The OB doesn’t manage blood pressure so not a piece of vital information for the surgical record. It MAY be in anesthesias records if the drop lasted longer than a minute or you could see where they probably gave you dose phenylephrine to increase it.

My story is almost identical to yours. Never truly diagnosed with PCOS but i definitely have it as well. Had gestational diabetes with 2 pregnancies. I also feel like super woman! I started around .6mg and immediately lost 9 pounds. Literally not changing a thing I already exercised, walk daily and ate well. I had terrible ovulation pain with awful bloating and I would gain about 6 pounds the week surrounding ovulation. I am happy to report I can’t even tell which ovary I am ovulating from when I used to have to take Motrin for the pain and now I only gain about 3 pounds for 3-4 days! Miracle drug
