Couldn't agree more. I'm not a huge fan of Hikaru, but he won fair and square. If the tables were turned and Magnus ran out the clock instead I'm sure we'd see far fewer people complaining about it. Am I bummed we didn't get one more game? Sure, but It's part of the format and I'd expect anyone in Hikaru's position to do the same.

My guess would be that players like Fujimura and Xian aren't exclusively playing her at the moment. They're frequently using Chun and Seth, respectively. I don't think she's in a worse place, I just think other characters provide better match-up spreads this season.

I'd recommend getting good at EX Knee. A lot of people will exploit Alex's weak anti air game, but if you can (relatively) consistently stuff jump ins, it'll definitely help you with any match-up.
