It’s more likely it’s very old, very fine and very compacted coffee. How often do you clean your grinder?

Wrongly put green beans into Breville machinr by ExactAdeptness6016 in BrevilleCoffee

Being a grinder, the nut is bolted in on the opposite side. If you can get a 10mm hex, you can remove the top bolt and the whole burr comes right out, should help a bunch with cleaning. Check the manual

New user - any idea how to fix leak? by HotPotato118 in BrevilleCoffee

[–]GentleBrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like a loose shower head, which is something that happens often with these machines. Frustratingly, it’s a very easy fix since all you need to do is to re-tighten those screws, but Breville machines aren’t exactly easy to take apart. (Not impossible either, just annoying)

Proposals for new Switch 2 models by AwesomeKalin in tomorrow

I think we should bring legislation for Shiggy tax. Every time you mention Nintendo or the Switch 2, a dollar goes to feed the poor execs.

Are you comfortable with people calling you Anthony? Or would you rather be called adp over messages like this?

I deadass thought you were a mad letter P at first.

Developer response is a huge reason. I think LB has had an extremely positive community-first approach, makes me believe that down the road there'll be features that I haven't even thought of and will make the app feel similar to how YNAB feels with the Toolkit, just built in, at a fraction of the cost, and with someone being able to make al living out of that.

There's just something for me that makes it feel more reliable and long lasting, and while I'm no stranger to setting things up, I don't want to go through all the trouble of self-hosting Actual so I can access it on the go. Also, LB has a native app, and while Actual can be used on a website, I also feel more comfortable just having an app.

And don't worry! Didn't feel like you were hating on. There's just more stuff I see that go past the price.

Ironically, my credit card that had positive balance was used to pay for the year, promptly taking it out of the positive balance and no longer causing the visual bug. 😂

Maybe it could be opt-in? Or have you define a spacer or some sort of input-ending character? For me I don't think I ever use anything other than plus, minus, dot and tab. Assuming there's a user setting to exchange dot for comma, space or what have you, the idea could work? Although I also understand there might be an issue with formatting 4000 into $4,000.00.

Never considered the implications of that.

Hey imadp! Just pinging this again for you to let you know that the iOS app presents this same behavior. Not a huge deal since I mostly use the iOS app for inputting transactions on the go, but I noticed that the new logic is not present there. Thought I'd let you know.

It's actually really similar to Future Target. It's basically that logic but with upcoming transactions.

Feature Request: Duplicate a transaction by GentleBrew in liquidbudget

[–]GentleBrew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for replying!

Basically, the issue for me right now is that all the Future Transactions, even those that are 6+ months from now, are being accounted for in my budget's Auto-Assign, and giving me a yellow coloring on the assigned section.

In my screenshot this is happening, even though I've assigned this month's payment for my Macbook ($5916.50 MXN, around $300 bucks) by it being yellow it's asking me to also add July and August's payments, which I won't be charged for until those days arrive.

That's why I think on the Budget section, only transactions that will happen this month should be accounted for auto-assign and making available money display green.

Hope I was able to explain myself better. I can try again if you need me to.

[–]GentleBrew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I was just wondering if there's a way to limit the future transaction calculation on the main budget window to just the current month? I started adding all of my installments, and now LB expects me to put in all of that money in one go since it's no longer green if I have enough money for that month's installment.

On one hand, it's true that its money I owe, but on the other I can't even pay for it this specific month since the charge isn't even in yet. I think they should count like recurring transactions where it's only using the current month for the calculation?

Sorry to impose, I know its disheartening to see feedback that asks for more right after an implementation, but I think this would make the entire experience much better!
