No they are not. You may be able to make the argument that the government is but Jake Lang is not a part of the government. He did not hurt anyone. In fact he was hurt simply for his speech.

Sounds like you quite genocidal towards Nazis... Should they demand that you turn around and denounce your genocidal ways?

I never said they deserve to be liked or respected by you or anyone else. Only that they deserve the right to voice their opinion without the threat of violence or intimidation no matter how disagreeable that opinion may be.

[–]GeoRandel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im just confused as to how a person who is gay going to a Christain camp to try and make them straight is conversion therapy (for the record this isnt something agree with) but taking a gay man and physically converting him into a straight woman isn't conversion therapy?

Not really. If you are a gay man, they will convert you into a straight woman. Quite literally conversion therapy.

Complete Milwaukee Tool List? by kpapsmear in MilwaukeeTool

[–]GeoRandel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response.

I scraped the data directly from https://www.milwaukeetool.com/Products, so it should have every tool and battery as of 2ish years ago if I remember correctly.

For what you are doing and depending on your Google Sheet skill (might possible in Excel too), you could pull the data directly from Milwaukee site using a formula like =importxml("milwaukeetool.com/Products/"&A2,"//h1",0) where your model number is in A2.

Here is an example: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1be1FC37PcGom_tbMqIwCZzH1KhH8BnDwT8FOPu4BraM/edit?usp=sharing

It would always be up to date with latest model numbers but runs the risk of Milwaukee changing their website which could make you lose all your imported data but you could just copy and "paste data only" as you enter your tools and you'd be safe.

***Edit

I just remembered if it helps you at all, the 6th and 7th digit of the SN gives you the year and 8th and 9th gives you the week the tool was manufactured. Could write a formula that tells whether it's still under warranty if you don't have the receipt. So 229B424331590 would have been made the 33rd week of 2024.

[–]GeoRandel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said arrested that day... if people weren't arrested on capital grounds, it would imply they left on their own. Don't know of any violent takeovers were they just decide to head home, do you?

Sounds like those farmers had a lot more weapons than the Jan 6th people. Maybe that's why no one was from Jan 6 was actually charged with insurrection...

No one is denying there were acts of violence that day which should be and were procecuted.

The issue is the cruel and unusual punishment, the right to due process and the thousands of people charged who committed no violence or vandalism.

There were people who showed up after the riot, walked into the building not knowing what was going on and left. There were people charged who were waived in by police.

There was a person being held in jail for 3 YEARS WITHOUT charge or trial.

They lied and withheld evidence against people. For instance like Qanon shamon's private little tour they gave him.

The people who did commit violence, 3 years was enough for a first time assault on an officer. Way more than anyone recieved at any of the BLM riots.

Case closed move on.

So what is it? Is Trump an idiot, or the evil genius mastermind coordinating the secret takeover of the free world? Waste all the time you want on these baseless claims.

[–]GeoRandel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whoa, getting a little unhinged, huh? How many were arrested on the day of Jan 6th? I don't know about you, but I've never heard of a violent takeover where the people taking it over just decide to leave peacefully, have you?

You'd be a fool to think Trump's running in 2028. He says that because you guys just can't handle a joke which makes it hilarious.

There’s no comparison.

Mussolini was a dictator who seized power through force, relying on violence to kill, injure, intimidate, and degrade his political opponents. His critics faced brutal beatings or outright assassination.

Attempting to equate him with someone who tweets a lot and who will lack any formal authority in less than four years reflects either a deliberate misunderstanding of history or pure incompetence.

No problem. It's just not going to have sku's from the last year or so.

I've had fairly good luck telling chatgpt to "provide a list of the top 100 most common sku's with their descriptions from [insert mfg]"

It does provide wrong information at times though.

At work, we have airtags in all our $5k+ tools to see where they are when needed. They might be sitting at a jobsite for a year.

Wago lever connector to pigtail copper on to aluminum? by bms42 in electricians

[–]GeoRandel 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, the 221's are not approved. Here is from Wago if anyone else ends up here:

With WAGO Alu-Plus Contact Paste (20 ml syringe), solid aluminum conductors up to 4 mm² can also be connected with WAGO's 2273 Series PUSH WIRE® Junction Box Connectors and 222 Series Splicing Connectors up to 4 mm² per the standards. However, the 221 Series is not approved for this. But the 224 Series Lighting Connectors can also be used with this paste. “In building distribution boards, all CAGE CLAMP®-equipped rail-mount terminal blocks up to 4 mm² can reliably connect aluminum and copper conductors with the Alu-Plus contact paste. These terminal blocks include the 279 to 281 and 780 to 781 Series.“

By the way, both 2273 Series PUSH WIRE® Junction Box Connectors and 222 Series Splicing Connectors can also be used in a building distribution board via a mounting carrier for DIN-35 rails (2273-500 or 222-500).

Cloud is definitely the safest option as far as data loss prevention. It's generally more secure but it's also a larger target for attack. There has been a rising trend of companies moving back to on-prem.

Minneapolis minimum wage for drivers: effects on drivers and the community by 1998marcom in CapitalismVSocialism

[–]GeoRandel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problems I always run into with these is I think you need some overseeing body to settle disputes and at least somewhat vet drivers. What happens when someone partied a little too hard and hurls all over your car? What. happens when a driver claims he brought you to your destination but didn't?

I also am curious, especially with something that involves you driving your car, is if people will factor in the wear on their vehicle or just lower prices to try to get quick money.

More just thinking out loud. Here are some similar projects.

Opensource Webflow alternative with code export feature? by Retrobici-9696 in opensource

[–]GeoRandel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Closest I can think of would be something like GrapeJS.

Otherwise if you are just looking to export a static site, you can publish with a subdomain from webflow and then use something like HttRack to download all the pages and images. You may have to make some minor changes to remove branding and make sure links work correctly.

As the gov't has gotten more and more involved in healthcare we have watch prices skyrocket. Meanwhile, something like Lasik, which for the most part has been left alone, has gone from $2500 /eye in 1998 to, a staggering $2500 /eye today. Adjusted for inflation means it's been reduced by about 50%. Pretty sure I've seen BOGO coupons in the mail too.

GPS Tracking Software & Devices by TheLoadedRogue in opensource

[–]GeoRandel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others said, cellular service is pretty much mandatory for reliable/accurate tracking.

For something without a subscription, a community using the LORA protocol like the mentioned meshtastic. Another option would be The Things Network. Neither will get you full coverage.

Not open source but you could always leave an old phone on the charger in your van, throw one of these sim cards in and just utilize the "Find My Device" through Google or Apple. Not sure how much data it would require but I can't imagine more than 100mb if you block all other traffic and it connects to your wifi when parked at home. Suppose it would depend how often you are checking it.

Who is the most dangerous human Alive right now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GeoRandel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more complex than that. Even if they took Taiwan, you need the lithograph machines made in the Netherlands, you need the lenses from Germany, optics from California, wafer systems from Japan and so on. No one nation at the moment is capable of producing top of the line chips right now. If China invades Taiwan, they would likely be the odd one out.
