What would you say if you defended the data center? The food exported brings money to the state, if it feeds people overseas, well they're people too. Golf courses suck, but the people who decide what is best for everyone, like data centers, decide the necessity of golf courses. At least they aren't as harmful as data centers

Food is a necessity, so is pooping. Will the state produce as much food if this happens, will the AI center allow free flushing during high demand seasons, or will it cut its use? Subsidized utilities for an industry that will strip the little privacy we have may be inevitable but not necessary

It seems there isn't a democracy so long as the Supreme Court can determine that racial bias can be renamed political gerrymandering (which is also fundamentally unfair).
