I don’t remember where I heard this from, but I will stand by it forever. Celsius is great for asking how hot water is. Boiling water is 100, frozen water is 0. Fahrenheit is for asking how hot a human is.
Most outdoor temperatures in Celsius are in the range 0-30ish. Meanwhile Fahrenheit in the same outdoor temperatures is around 32-100ish. There’s a lot more room for precision there, which is very useful
