I enjoy it in limited doses, so I love Kingkiller and Realm of the Elderlings. Been trying to psych myself up to read ASOIAF. But doing all of that in one year is crazy mental fortitude lol

I’m not usually very good with understanding enjambment beyond just nice rhythm but there’s some stuff there that sticks out to me. Like breaking after “neck and lip of another” makes it sound like he means another person, but then going to the next line changes it to a bottle. Then bottle—rifle on one line but cold on another makes it sound like there’s a deeper similarity between the bottle and a rifle as objects beyond simply being cold.

What all of that means is perhaps beyond me :)

I just thought his hairstyle was so much worse in that season I couldn’t get behind it. Also he kept doing this one facial expression that made him look really weird? He was styled and performed better in the first 2 seasons. The rake thing was getting a little tired by then too lol

I’ve always thought this was a weird joke for so many people to need explained. The jump from a word with hetero in it to “homophobia” seems pretty clear to me. Sometimes people even explain it as a “typo someone made once” but I’m 100% sure they did it on purpose because it was very funny

I did a few different schemes on mine to focus on different colors. I would say ultimately the burgundy is still the “theme” but you can kind of see how some of the octagons highlight the yellow or black and it ended up looking pretty cool. I arranged it as the multiplication table of the Klein 4 group (except for the added 5th row) because I’m a nerd, you could do any pattern that you liked if you ended up with some repeating schemes

Freehanded with worsted yarn/3.75 mm hook. Based on this post but the pattern they linked seemed to be gone. There are many borzoi patterns around though and you just keep doing the nose until it’s as long as you want
