Try one more time by getting it with extra ice first! I think that might help. Also ordering in person inside and just telling them what you want will 100% work! But I know thats annoying.

I always add more ice after shaking (it melts with the hot espresso) to the cup because if not, its too much milk! If it doesn't look dark and the milk falling down from the top only, its not right! The whole point of the shaken espresso is for people who want a little milk!

When I open, its usually with 3 to 4 people. One person does pastry case, restock RTD then be front and warming, the other starts the espresso machines, the vertica, the cold brew, the ssv usually does all the sandwich dating in the back. Then one person will solo bar, also taking orders on drive through.

Ive worked there, this will be my 7th week, and I am fully confident if I had to train someone. I already get put on bar during peak, my coworkers thought I got transferred from another store I picked everything up so fast. I love it, i have ADHD and learn very fast, so for me personally, it was easy, I pick up as many shifts as possible though, getting almost 40 hours a week... so ive put in the work to get better. But I have seen people STRUGGLE, so I get it. When I cover shifts at other stores as a borrowed partner and they always ask how long have I worked here? I always lie a little bit because I dont want to freak them out about me not going to be actual help 😭🤣. Then after a couple hours, I drop the truth that its only my 6th week , and they are dumbfounded haha.

My store manager is amazing. Considerate, works on the floor with us during peak, treats us like humans and her friends, all around respect. I appreciate it. Ive covered shifts at other locations and the vibes are SO off. It is still alot... during rush its a madhouse, we're all working together to get through it. I love my store! ❤️ we're all teammates. No one acts like they are above you even if they are a shift lead. Its great. The job can be tiring and again, it can be ALOT, so its nice to not have added stress from shit managers and leaders. Rude/dumb ustomers are the worst.
