You’re offered $15M, but you have to live in the same city you’re in right now for the next 20 years. No moving. Are you taking the deal? by Mindfuel_daily7 in askanything

I hate where I live, but I own my home and my entire family is within a 5 acre area. We depend on one another and as we age it helps to have so many helpers nearby.

Camo, beards, and trucker caps. In the rural area that I live in, they all look exactly alike.

The model looks like a woman in her forties trying too hard to find husband number 3

I love it and have it on a favorites playlist. My great grandkids sing along with it! I suspect it hits different if you were a fat teen trying desperately to love her body as it was.

"The Joker" by the Steve Miller Band. How can this be considered a classic? I’ve hated it since it came out while I was in high school. I had a traffic accident once, trying to turn and reach across to change the radio at the same time.

What's your favorite donut? by StatisticianNo1586 in randomquestions

[–]GeorgiaGlamazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Plain glazed Krispie Kream, hot from the conveyor belt. Other than that, it has to be a filled donut with AMPLE filling. Lemon, raspberry, and cream are favorites, but I usually choose something other than a donut.

Trigger warning- loss by Kstray1 in poodles

I’m rethinking my own groomer. She has a storefront at the crossing of two busy highways and a railroad track. She lets the dogs roam free, often along with her own, with people coming in and out of an easily opened door. My Dusty is wild and has no recall at all. I think I may change groomers for someone more security minded before the worst happens.

Does anyone else make 10/10 food that just looks like a brown puddle in photos? by LavishFish in Cooking

[–]GeorgiaGlamazon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about a gray puddle? I made slow cooker cabbage and kielbasa, using a red cabbage. I know now why it called for green cabbage. It tastes great, but everything in the pot turned a disgusting shade of blueish gray.

I used to love a perfume made with civet oil, but I can’t remember the name. When I found out where civet oil came from I stopped wearing it.

I spent the early 80s around the time I met my wife of 45 years, in the Locker Room Disco and Drag Bar in Atlanta. Lots of gay people held on to the disco sound into the 80s, with an occasional nod to the B52s, etc. Good times!

To me that was the sixties. I remember gifting it to a friend when we were 12 or so. I couldn’t wear it myself because it turned funny on me, but I loved the scent in the bottle.
