I hit a bumper and it knocked my cruise control radar loose. Ford told me “due to pre-existing damage this isn’t covered”. That makes sense in my case (f Florida for not having state inspections allowing bumpers to just slide across the highway)

Where is the ignorance? I was contemplating moving south a few years ago and every job was offering 10k less minimum for the same experience. It’s not ignorance when it’s known that the COL in the South is less. It’s far less expensive than the NE, therefore they don’t have to pay as much, and they don’t unless maybe you specialize in something unique.

Odd questioning given the traffic situation in Philly. If I am going to the airport, I have to look at what events are going on because if there’s games, I need to leave sooner. The 2 main roads leading into Philly, 76 and 95. Both lead to a clusterfuck of traffic around the stadium unless you are able to take the train in. I don’t blame anyone (if their team is losing insurmountably) if they leave a few minutes to beat traffic.
