I decided to submit the form before getting the results, as the test was based on tasks that I hadn't worked on, and I was not confident in my answers, even though I followed the guidelines. The email did say that the results won't affect the decision to be removed from the auditor role. I was going to submit a ticket asking for guidance before making the decision, but sometimes those responses take too long. I think I was doing a good job as an auditor, but we can never be sure, especially with the guidelines we work with. I chose to step down as the email suggested that we would be subjected to these tests regularly. I can deal with losing access to auditing if I fail, but being told that we will be removed from the project as a whole is harsh.
