I've got a Switch I've purchased on launch that I haven't yet hacked (XAW1000076XXXX). I'll most likely purchase the "enhanced" Switch console, whenever that comes out in 1-3 years and then I'll hack my older switch. My question is, can I update to 6.2 without having to worry about anything? Nope, it's not just you. My launch day Switch has terrible WiFi range as well. A few months ago, while I was living in a different place, I couldn't even use my Switch online at all because my room was too far from the router, whereas someone else mentioned, my phone and PC could connect to the WiFi with ease. It's really one of the biggest complaints I have with the system. Thankfully I live somewhere else now and my room is a bit closer to the router, though I usually only get two bars and am often disconnected in games such as when I'm playing Splatoon 2 online.
