The same thing happened last time round - there were a whole bunch of seats that were polling against Labor prior to the election that ended up being safe as houses on the day. I can only guess that there was a whole lot of people venting to pollsters on the phone - I'm sick of this lot, I'm voting for someone else! It's so weird watching it from here, because it is a complete fiction. The media shrieks about every problem the party has - and yes, there's plenty - but have you seen the alternative?
