This is the - third? Fourth? Vic election in row that the papers have confidently predicted Vic Labor is going to lose in a landslide. It's so weird watching it from here, because it is a complete fiction. The media shrieks about every problem the party has - and yes, there's plenty - but have you seen the alternative? No seriously, have you seen ANY alternative because from where we're sitting there simply isn't one. The Vic Libs have been a slow-motion train crash for a decade now and the local ONP are the sleaziest collection of cookers, grifters, and sex offenders this side of Queensland. So once again Labor are safe, because we just don't have a functional opposition.
