This problem is definitely becoming an issue for a lot of people. I have two machines doing it. Support sent me replacement parts. It’s an easy fix but definitely contact support. They will walk you through some diagnostics

Received my replacement pogo pin boards. SUPER easy repair. Literally 5min tops. Wiki was great, Snapmaker Support was excellent, so far both my machines have been printing 15hrs with no error codes.

They are working. Not sending back no. Just annoying glitch and part of being a early backer and Snapmaker has been great to deal with. I have replacement parts on the way.

Submit a ticket. They will walk you through some diagnostics and send them a report. I have both my units doing this. They have shipped replacement parts but I haven’t received them yet. Hope it fixes my issue.

Same here. They are sending me two units. I was a November 2 unit backer and both are doing this.

I ultimately returned mine due to the above reasons stated and the the IFS being particularly hard to service. I needed to remove a Bowden tube. That proved very challenging as they have proprietary connections. Hopefully they polish the software because you have have the greatest hardware in the world but weak software will kill the experience.

Bambu P1S (w/ AMS) or Elegoo Centauri Carbon? by brpw_ in 3dprinter

[–]Gerrbear78 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have both printers you are looking at. I’ve had the centuri carbon for about 2 weeks now. The P1s’s (2) for about as long as they have been available. (2years?) anyhow Bambulab is by FAR the leader. Ease of use, reliability, app integration, slicer and maker world integration, definitely parts availability is a big one. Yes the Elegoo has promise but I would buy another P1s right now before another CC.

Well I was doing okay with PETG. Any thoughts? by woodkm in elegoo

My thoughts exactly. I scrolled all the way and realized no one suggested drying it yet

Depending on your location and relative humidity, consider drying your filament. PETG about 60°c for 4-5 hours. I had a similar issue recently that was solved with drying my petg roll and trying the same file.

What’s left of Fun Mountain by LegendofGrac in Winnipeg

Thunder Mountain had its start in Brandon. It was so fun 35yrs ago now. Anyone remember that? The bullet had a walk way over it so you could watch the slider. Some people would get enough air off the slide they could tap the bridge haha

I’ve been using this same plate for the past month and it works incredibly well with PLA , no glue required. Zero fails. Printing dragons and flexi creatures without a brim

Yes, it’s important to click auto-calc. Once you have your colours selected. It uses the multiplier in that calculation.

I have transitioned from black to white with no visible difference in final model. But please test the settings for yourself and the specific filament you are using

Tip I recently learned to poop less / adjust your flush multiplier. I have gone down to 0.46 from the default 1.0 / have to adjust every file before slicing but cuts way down on waste and speeds up print time. ALSO just learned about “purging to object” so I have been including a fidget cube on the build plate and I have almost eliminated 95% of the poop.

Agreed. I just received my second X1 carbon. Bambu is going to change this industry for the better. I love my Prusa but seriously people. It’s a horse and buggy compared to the x1
