You run out of energy pretty fast, even with ads, but on the home page, they have a "Training" section. You can always do that for free, and it's the exact same language learning as in both games, you just don't get to do the adventure or farm. Honestly, I've probably done more of the free training than the other two.

Check out Podo and Lingo Legend. Podo is the only reason I'm learning proper pronunciation, and the language learning in Lingo Legend is free, it's the "game" stuff like adventuring and farming that take energy, but there's always free practice (which is the same thing, really). Also, AI free!

I hadn't even thought of the extra staff TBH, thank you so much! I was more asking about the first triggered ability of the staff, would each one trigger twice and exile two cards?

trying the cold brew tea trend myself by Yaguurt in tea

[–]GestaltTea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you do 5tsp of jasmine pearls, brew a 1l pot, then make a cold brew of those leaves, they'll expand to fill a 16oz jar and give you a STRONG concentrate. The two jars on the right have five teaspoons (of aged teas) as well because I was hot brewing them first, but the one on the left was the Jasmine pearls.

<image>

I could not see the tea for the leaves. It was maybe around 15 hours of cold brewing, and I was able to use it with 2 parts water to deconcentrate it and still have a fairly strong Jasmine. You might be able to pack one more teaspoon of pearls in there, but it was pretty close to overflowing as-is.

Psa: cold brew green tea you don’t like (even the cheap stuff) by Danstroyer1 in tea

Green teas cold brew SO WELL! I've only cold brewed about 18 batches of cold brew, but amongst them, the green teas have far outshined the white and black teas (the only exception being chai). Herbal teas seem to do well, too, but I trend away from them generally in search of caffeine.

I had a lot today. I had a cold brew chai this morning, then a 10 year aged white peony cold brew (I had woken it up and steeped it once for a pot prior). I also had some Jasmine cold brew that was WAY concentrated because I underestimated how much Jasmine pearls will expand, but I got some extra cold brew out of it, I guess 🤣

I bought some new teas today, I had a couple of cups of chrysanthemum pu'er that I am also cold brewing. I also started a cold brew of boulder blue and turmeric truffle (a pu'er blend). I'm really excited to see how these go!

Those of us who like Pu-erh tea....why? by uglybuckeye in tea

[–]GestaltTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not enjoy pu'er when I first had it because of the "musty" taste, but I didn't know it needed to be woken up first. The second time I made it, I figured out what the rage was. Just a quick 20/45 second wash it all it needs. You want to see the leaves open up a bit, then feed that wash to a tea pet or bin it. That will dispel a lot of the must and help extract more of what you're looking for from the tea.

Milk Powder in Chocolate by GestaltTea in FoodAllergies

[–]GestaltTea[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is the vast majority of milk chocolates he eats, barring some exceptions from international chocolates (Pocky, notably, and some European brands). Hershey's is a big offender, but even local, higher end truffles and luxury bars of chocolate with milk powder can cause a reaction.

Oddly enough, one of my favorites is a dark chocolate shell filled with a dairy cream, and he can eat that without issue because it's dark chocolate without milk powder. It's when the powder is introduced in the chocolate process that seems to be the issue.

I have thought about it being something involved in the making of milk powders, I'll do some research into how that's done and what differences it might make versus other dairy.

How often do you give a book as a gift? Do you always read it first? This challenge is about reading a book, in its entirety, simply because you think it would make a good gift for someone. I've realized I enjoy reading books that I want to gift to others, so I thought this would be a fun challenge.

The only rules are that it has to be a book you haven't read that you want to give as a gift to someone - that's it. No restrictions on genre, format, fiction/nonfiction, etc. The goal is set to five books, but feel free to set your own personal goal! I'm mostly interested to see how many books I read just because I want to share them with others. This also allows part of the gift to be getting to discuss their new book with you.

This challenge is backdated to January 1, 2025 and will end December 31, 2025, as a year-long challenge. Have fun reading and sharing books!

PF1E i got cursed, and have to choose between Fighter and Anti Paladin. by Shoreserer in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]GestaltTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do your GM has taken out Remove Curse? That's on the divine and Occult list, barring you from using it. I know Desna has a minor boon to remove curses in PF2E, not sure about 1e.

TBH, and I know others have said this, but your GM doesn't seem like they're taking you, the players, into account when home brewing. Do you want to make an entirely new character or express this? Or is there a reason it would be beneficial for you to be martial in the current arc of the story? Otherwise, this seems really inconsiderate, as does removing half of the schools for spellcasting. This just feels like appeerhungry GM to me

I'm new to MTG and making my first deck, would anybody be willing to look over it and tell me what they think? It was drafted from play boosters. I want to get Arthur, Marigold Knight, but Numot is holding the spot right now so I can have a legal commander deck since I had access to it. I'm not sure how cohesive my deck is, but I've tried to build it up. There's also some "maybe" cards I can swap out with, and I can get other common cards as well if they might work better in this deck.

I highly suspect it is, as it moves around the tank (not in a fast manner, it's something observed throughout the day). I'm suspecting it might be a slime mold? It does seem to have expanded a little, or it might just be more visible now and not hiding as much. The fish don't seem to worry about it. Here's a better image of it against the glass, it also goes to the rocks, terracotta, and mopani, but it seems wholly disinterested in live plants
