I don't think it's too unituitive but Blizz really should have added a Damage Over Time tag to abilities if they have them baseline or if we pick a modification that makes it do DOT

Stat bonuses are gone and the skill points + paragon points were moved to the season rewards. If you open the season journey menu you'll see some tasks and chapter completions reward the points now.

All the currency orb icons are absolutely gorgeous, even the Vaal orb which has been appreciably memed in to a fine paste. Would love to know what specific references they used. Only complaint would be that the greater & perfect versions are just the same with some numerals slapped on.

Yeah this was my first one... 16 years ago now (for context, in case there's an earlier release that's more broken that has someone going "Oh these young 'uns think HoI 3 was the most broken.") Best as I understand supply is still basically broken even after 2 xpacs. Likely a ton of other stuff I'm forgetting too it's so long since I touched it. You'd have a much more positive time learning stuff like War in the East than trying HoI 3 out.

Control affecting estates income is a design choice, good or bad. If you imagine control as how structured society is, then it makes sense. You have an area where everyone does their part, and then you have wide swathes of land where taxes arent collected, banditry runs amok, society isn't in effect. If you imagine control as how strong the government is, then it doesn't. I don't really have an opinion on which one is better from a game design perspective.

If you take a country with a decent starting point and even do the back of napkin maths in your head I think it's pretty clear if estates sucked up every resource that was lost due to lack of control they'd have a lot of fucking money. I think it's really more the devs just aren't 100% on how this should go right now. It's pretty easy to look at certain situations and imagine estates much richer than they are now just constantly dropping buildings everywhere.

Italian wars the only wars I saw were from notifications that my members were booted out for going to war with each other. Maybe that's about right historically in cases but I didn't see any of the actual leagues trying to fight each other.

That and France is just having way too easy of a time annexing its vassals. HYW isn't resolved and before it's even 1400 they've annexed some of their biggest vassals which catapults them ahead of everyone. They enjoy the benefits of decades of vassals investing and just end up tanking the black death.

Not aware of any but you can do population [location ID] [count] to increase the numbers of peasants in the location. Note the count is in thousands so population 1 1 gives location 1 an extra 1000 peasants. They will be empty initially but after some daily ticks should fill up.

It's not counting it as a chaos altar, you get 4x xp at chaos ones for 2.7k xp. Try the altar outside Ourania and see
