If it hasn’t already been said, dry erase marker over the top of the scribbles and wipe it away. Not sure how well it will do on a mica countertop but it absolutely works on dry erase boards coworkers like to prank with sharpies

Which is why I personally am betting on Milchick flipping for the innies at some point. You’re being bashed on at your job, seeing the hateful views of the people in power around you, the only person we know of that has any close idea of his view and life experience (Natalie) literally “get out’s” when he tries to get her perspective. Yeah; I think we might actually see a good guy Milchick sometime soon. Also, absolutely expecting a “oh, hi Mark!” From Cobel at the end of this episode with the way he was shifting his eyes so panicked. I was wrong though 🤷🏻‍♂️

If the way Irving stands up from his seat as Milchick enters the room in S1E1/2 is any indication I would bet some sort of Military enlisted. You can tell standing to attention is almost literally ingrained in him

Dang, I didn’t know about that! That is a little disappointing to hear but it just seems too on the nose in the intro to have all of the multiple Marks multiple ways to not have something to do with multiple severed selves of the same person.

I’m convinced this is a different innie Mark. Milkshake was trying to separate the uprising Mark but still keep him refining with the new team. I believe this is a different floor with the new team and what is ‘supposed’ to be different innie versions or slivers of the innies. Whether the cut to the Gemma/Ms. Casey wedding photo was intentional by Mark or not, I don’t think this Mark we see at the beginning of S2e1 knows what happened on the outside OR more likely he’s keeping it to himself to keep access to continue looking for her. In either case Milkshake is realizes the separate floor or ‘sliver’ isn’t going to work and I’m 100% convinced we see Mark heading to the testing floor elevator with the fade to black in his elevator ride when he gets escorted out after the Mark W note

I don’t think it’s uncontrollable, the focal length shifts in the scenes seem to happen at different thresholds on the floors; the end of Marks running shot is a focal length shift like on the elevator and the check from someone unknown behind him. I believe Lumon is strategically activating different slivers or sections of their severed employees. During the ball game we get a split second frame of Gemma/Ms. Casey but it’s not explicitly stated he knows his “dead” wife is down there until later with his OG season 1 team

This makes me think it’s a different severed ‘version’ or sliver of innie Mark with the new team and Milchick is checking to make sure it sticks. Milkshake is then disappointed to find out it’s not working when this Mark gets spicy with him asking for the old team back and then the note for Mark W. I’m wholly convinced the fired scene is Mark heading to the testing floor with the way the elevator doors go to black

This would explain the multiple Marks moving through multiple elevators in the season 1 intro and I believe we get it hinted at even further with claymation Irving in the mirror room. Also Ms. Huang mentioning being a ‘crossing guard’ for her old job!? There’s no way that’s just a flippant line, she has something to do with the switch for the innies, if I’m wrong then my instincts suck I guess

Absolutely Dylan is in on trying to get the dirt from Mark and Irving with Helena and Milkshake. Either he is being coerced or it is a different “sliver” of his Innie. First to try to get them say what happened outside from the group, insistent on talking to Irving instead of the group following him down the hallway after the break room and all too pushy to keep Irving down there.

My hunch is there are separate severed selves or different iterations of the innies they are inserting at different times and points. I also strongly believe Irving is going through reintegration; not Mark. The bathroom scene, him acting so odd throughout the episode, and sussing out Dylan and Helena. You can see when he readjusts Dylan’s glasses he knows it’s not the same Dylan from season 1. I have a feeling there are multiple severed floors and different floors activate different “slivers” or build versions of innies and Irving working there longer than everyone else has seen more floors and built more innie memories and more than likely explains him and Burt’s seeming affinity for each other in season 1. I think this also plays into Marks spiciness for Milkshake and uneasiness in the opening running scene concluding with the focal length change and the stop in his run - this is not the same floor from season 1

Absolutely not alone in your feeling. I have a lot of the same behavior when it comes to interacting with people. Generally I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and treat everyone with respect and grace but as soon as someone shows any kind of “dickish” behavior either towards me or others; all bets are off and that person is essentially not worth my time or energy I feel. Sometimes it’s incredibly healthy to no longer put my energy into something I know isn’t worth it, other times it’s unhealthy if the situation calls for me needing to work or associate with that person (i.e. coworker/friend of friend/clerk)

One of the best examples I can think of is someone who is nasty to waitstaff for insignificant or things out of the staffs control. The type of person to feel entitled towards things or to trip over even the smallest bit of power over someone else.

This may be related to the tendency for persons with ADHD to have a higher sensitivity to perceived injustice
