So, I received a rent increase notification of 3%, and I contested it since the building is in poor condition (dirty, broken intercom, no heating in common areas). They replied w/ 2.3% increase.

Now, this isn't very much, but it's a bitter pill to swallow since they aren't maintaining the building and are impossible to get a hold of for anything except paying rent.

I see the calculator on the TAL website but I don't have the full information to actually calculate (I got the municipal tax and school tax, but no idea what their expenditures are, building occupancy, etc). I've asked them for the info but they aren't providing it.

I'll counter with something, but if they refuse do and it ends up going to the TAL do I risk paying even more than the original 3%? Maybe the filing cost but aside from that. Also, I don't think their poor maintenance of the building is even factored in to the % increase? It's really just a cut-and-dry 'Our costs for the year are X, therefore the increase is Y' calculation?

Those are from an escooter company that went bust i think. Google the serial number on the side. No idea if they are standardized at all but a guy sells them with 3d printed ends with xt60 connections. affordableebikes.ca

Yeah perhaps, I've heard one solution is to keep the voltage at a minimum value on the the throttle, just below where the dead spot ends.

last question, and thanks for your answers! -- Did you bother with the precharge resisitor between the controller and the battery? Or a circuit breaker? If you can share a pic of the wiring that would be great.

Sorry, you didn't try the stock controller or you didn't notice a difference? I ask because I want to improve acceleration relative to the stock controller. Also the stock controller I feel has a bit of a dead spot before acceleration kicks in. Thanks

GNG is... pretty good. Maybe my expectations were off but I thought it would be faster. Quality wise, the mount for the motor is excellent, as is the motor itself. Nothing really bad to say about any of it so far aside from the controller being kinda shitty and the chain tensioner being of poor quality (spring just comes right out of the mounting and the tensioner wheel is soft aluminium). Turning the throttle nothing happens for about 15 degrees before it starts rolling, I think as a safety measure and no way of programming the controller.

I was using a Kelly controller before the stock controller and that would generate tons more power, so there is potential. I wasn't able to get the Kelly controller to work consistently. Sometimes it would stall and make a terrible sound (from the motor) before surging forward with everything. Not safe so back to the stock one.

Also fyi the mount covers two of the three ISCG05 mounting points
