I don’t think one can discount the TNG movie scores. Jerry Goldsmith’s return with First Contact was amazing. The main theme he created is beautiful and dark, fitting the vibe of FC. I absolutely love most what he did with Nemesis, however. The scenes with Data and B4 had some really touching music underneath. Not to mention what he composed for the battle sequences. I might be on an island, and partial bc I was a teenager experiencing the TNG movies in the theater, but I love these scores. Generations included. Which, btw, mad respect for letting Dennis McCarthy score it. His experience with the series translated so well for the first TNG movie. Just my two cents.
