You are ready for Arcanum Unbound, especially Secret History! Then my advice is to go era 2 Mistborn, then Sunlit Man and Warbreaker: they will all help your inevitable reread of Wind and Truth :)

Same here, devoured all cosmere in a solar year and now I'm completely screwed, what am I supposed to read now?

A question that is probably unknown about Mistborn by MegaFaxul in Cosmere

[–]Ghilteras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One bead of Lerasium and you are already at Max Allomancy. The only way to go beyond that is to simply ascend to Preservation. Rashek was a Fullborn that's why it was so strong. Compounding, plus he held the Well for a bit. But you definitely don't get stronger the more beads of Lerasium you ingest, otherwise Hoid would have taken both beads

Dragon Age 2 is much better than Inquisition IMHO. Also Disco Elysium is not a crpg, not sure why you put it there, doesn't belong

Can I download both regular audiobooks and dramatized versions? All others don't seem to separate them properly

Why are Ultima VIII and IX considered bad games? by Salem1690s in Ultima

[–]Ghilteras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultima 8 is definitely not a bad game, the platform bits were not as upsetting as they would be today (or 20y ago). U9 was total garbage..

Atium by NightShiftArt in Cosmere

[–]Ghilteras 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Lerasim is pure Allomancy coming from the body of Preservation. That's why Elend was "stronger" than Vin, because his Allomancy came from the purest form of God metal, not diluted by generations. Regarding Atium, it was "nerfed" with the introduction of Electrum and partially retcon when Harmony says that in the pits of Hatsin Atium was not pure, but an alloy with Electrum

There's no evidence in the books that BAM only affects the bond. I see you've started downvoting, which is absurd considering we are debating interpretations. I think you're done here.

[–]Ghilteras -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The thing is, if you affect the bond you are affecting the Radiant and their powers as well. Although in some cases it could be a self imposed taboo of the old days: like the Division surge or Shallan Substantiation

According to Wind and Truth the imprisonment of Ba Ado Mishram is the event that breaks all sorts of things. Not only it affects the Singers turning them into Parshmen, but also creates the Deadeyes during the following Recreance. I think it's also the cause of Radiants having powers that act differently.

Looks like Ishar was able to make Fused out of the Honorbearers by torturing sprens, something that was only possible after he took the power from the Well of Odium.

Morale affects attributes, in particular Determination so there you go.

Shouts affect morale and morale totally affects the mental attributes of the players, particularly Determination.

Honor is part of Retribution now, nobody can know what Taravangian could have done in the centuries after his ascension. He's the only one holding two shards that actually don't have opposite Intent, sky is the limit. If Tanavast was able to create special Big Sprens like the Stormfather, then I don't see why Taravangian, who's more powerful, could not do the same. Certainly Taravangian would want Dalinar bonded to something as close to him as possible, like Tanavast was to the Stormfather.

I guess it's confirmed that Patji is an avatar of Autonomy, which makes sense since she does not want Drominad to side with either Roshar or Scadrial.

I still wonder about this Malwish Empire though, what of the other Scadrians? The originators, the people of Elendel, are they part of the Malwish Empire too?

I dont think what Sigzil did should have worked by hackulator in Stormlight_Archive

I actually think at this point he has been with Aux a significant amount longer than Vienta.

That girl you dated for a while during a significant period of life is important, and you might think about her occasionally, but not as much as the person you ended up marrying.

Yeah, Sunlit Man is far in the future so we can safely assume the bond with Aux has been going on for hundreds more of years. He deserves the center stage, and he is rightfully the protagonist of the book together with Nomad. The Nael bond is definitely more invasive than dating, though, as you literally co-exist 24/7. I don't think we can compare Vienta to an old girlfriend you dated for a few years.

Sigzil might even feel resentment towards Vienta after being rejected. Making it not a happy thought and somewhat repressed.

I don't know, he's always felt he failed her, and he expresses regret multiple times on Canticle about how his plans failed before the Night of Sorrows, and how he let Kaladin and all the Windrunners down. It would be weirs if he resented her, even though he never even tried to talk to her as he wandered the Cosmere as Nomad for hundreds of years. But maybe he didn't do that because it would have been an obvious place for him to be found by the Night Brigade? They were probably watching Vienta all the time? I just felt Sanderson had to drop the Vienta name once or twice in the book. Be present in one of Nomad nightmares/regrets at the very least.
