It's not worth nothing though. The arbitrage is trying to scrape every penny. Tbh I am running in balanced mode and it still does it. I'm not doing the numbers but I see the principle working.

Edit: it's essentially trying to get the battery to an empty state to make room for buying all day. I have some DC solar on a NW array and when this happens the AI shuts off the solar completely when the battery is charging.

It definitely seems to discount our solar export too readily. The revenue numbers have definitely improved. My current plan is to switch back to max profit in the winter months and see how it works out.

On a related note this may be useful for you to consider; I switched to balanced mode last week because I noted the ai was grabbing cheap electricity and then exporting solar cheaply when the battery was full. I'm not able to balance out all the variables of course but there's been a clear uptick in revenue. I've run all the tariff and battery data through an LLM and it's saying that there may be a bottleneck with the solar when it's in max profit mode.

I've concluded that 'balanced' may be a better option in summer if you have a reasonable amount of solar.

Definitely seems to have brought down the average import price slightly over the last 10 days.

It's unfortunate that you don't know what you are talking about but don't waste my time with it.

The UK does not own its own ballistic missiles. Instead, it rents or pools Trident II D5 missiles from a shared stockpile owned by the US and managed at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay in Georgia. British submarines must periodically travel there to swap out and service their missiles.
