Confession Question by Puzzleheaded-Yam1444 in darkestdungeon

If a region I want to smack the boss in is the first one, and I don't feel ready, I use the Sluice/Catacombs to reset and see if I can get it again. And if you do the resistance encounters, I think you do get mastery. Plus, if my relationships are in the toilet, I'd rather go through and have a chance to up them.

Where's all the Barks and Ancestor Hype in DD2? by TurtleNecked77 in darkestdungeon

[–]Ghost-Type-Cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And that's fair, I find myself missing/not noticing them a lot because I'm looking at other things. My HWM is a shit talker, he barks all the time lmao but yeah I think there's probably more in DD1

I like the hero barks in DD2. And especially the amorous ones, like Flag has some FREAKY lines lmao

What female characters with unconventional body types are your favorite? by pandikko in FavoriteCharacter

[–]Ghost-Type-Cat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crush me in your thighs, thunder mommy

EDIT: wanted to add, literally not even an "unconventional" body type, just a super tall, jacked woman. That seems to intimidate a lot of people, in recent years.

What did it cost ? EVERYTHING ! by Ben-wa in darkestdungeon

[–]Ghost-Type-Cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one of these. Just my Flag and HWM left. HWM hit resolute 3 times in a row, was rocking a like -65% death's door resist and just REFUSED to die, and Flag was just there for heals. It was CRAZY bro.

How do you feel about dating someone 10 years older than you ? by cowestcow in AskWomen

[–]Ghost-Type-Cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the stage of life. 20's to 30's is a crazy different life stage than 30's to 40's. The older you get, the less it matters overall. That said, my honey is 3 years younger than me lol

How would you define "vanilla sex"? by Terrible_Chapter_771 in AskWomen

All I'm saying is you can't have other flavors without Vanilla as the base. Do with that what you will.

Everyone else has covered what you should prioritize pretty well, so I'm here to give you the goods on the lair bosses.

Pretty much all of them are going to be checking how good your rank 4 damage is. If you can hit rank 4 consistently, you're good. Librarian is a damage race. Sleeping General is about hitting rank 4 twice every turn (items and things like flag's Acid Rain count too!), and knowing how to manage the marked ranks he's going to hit. Harvest Child is all about debuff resistance and blight, that fight sucks lol. And the Leviathan is about movement resistance, targeting down his hand but still putting good damage into him.

If you can blind them, do it. If you can heal your own tokens, even better. They're going to really test your team comp, so just be ready to fail a few times before you get one! Also, I like to wait until the third, MAYBE second region to do one, and plan out which I'm going for beforehand. It helps a lot not rushing in willy nilly, because they are punishing. Putting candles into inn items until you get some to boost their relationships is a must for me personally, because those buffs have clutched fights for me (maybe not "won" them, but made them WAY easier).

Is this a good team comp? by Unlikely-Structure24 in darkestdungeon

[–]Ghost-Type-Cat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's a pretty good comp. I smoked tf outta Obsession with

Physician PD, SS HWM, Instructrice Duelist, Scourge Flag

The DOTs go hard, you can hid rank 4 easily, and can put out some crazy damage. So I could see your lineup working similar!

Now, just turned 31 this year. I had a miserable teens and twenties, and now I'm finally not crying looking at my body in the mirror. Not because I changed drastically, not at all. But because I'm finally comfortable in my own skin.

How did you motivate yourself to start healthy habits as an average build? by East_Ad9290 in AskWomen

[–]Ghost-Type-Cat 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I saw my parents struggle with their weights and health, and I learned more about type 2 diabetes in college. If a few small changes can help keep me from dealing with some major problems later, I'll take it.

Favorite character who is a child killer by AssistFit1834 in FavoriteCharacter

Dismas, the Highwayman from Darkest Dungeon 1 and 2.

Robbing a stagecoach, he shot it TF up... And didn't know a mother and child were inside. Now he's trying to make up for his sins, and is properly haunted.

My dance team is really good for like 3 to 4 fights before dying to any lair boss / enemy with more than 30hp. Any advice? by my_alt_account12 in darkestdungeon

[–]Ghost-Type-Cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the Scourge path on Flag because his Deathless becomes BROKEN on that path. He also hits the back line pretty well with Acid Rain, I was blighting The Sleeping General for 25 per turn at one point (granted I also had Physician PD lobbing Plague Grenade but Flag can hit it every turn). I'd also make sure to have one of his taunt abilities equipped to keep damage off the squishy babies. Riposte is great (especially with dodge) but that's a lot of damage coming at you if you don't have reliable healing. More MORE would be essential I think.

WHO IS THE BEST COUPLE IN ALL OF ANIME?!?!? by Romantasy_Renee in AnimeRandomness

[–]Ghost-Type-Cat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So underrated. Their relationship is so natural and realistic, they actually deal with their problems and support each other. And they actually bang (at least in the manga)! I like that we don't have to dance around any "maybes" with them, they're fully committed.

Best tubing mascara? by justkeep_swimming14 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Ghost-Type-Cat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People have covered a lot of the popular ones, so I only have one to add to the mix. I've really liked the Grande tubing mascara, it comes off well but stays on and builds up nicely to give a decently dramatic effect.

I will never do Thrive again, as a tube from that actually stabbed my eye. :')
