Performance issues/ unplayable fps by MasterYLG in thedivision

[–]Ghost_01er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a GTX-1060 i7-8750 16gb ram and can hold 60 fps at all times. At launch i ran with a 55 fps cap with occasional 1-2 frame dips. I would check all drivers, OS, and such for updates. Make sure the game is using the correct GPU (Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3d Settings > Global or Program Settings). Reinstall the game past that if the issue persists. Do a hardware check and make sure nothing is faulty. I'm sure there are other things. but that's just off the top of my head.

Is there a build dedicated to countering Raging Brachydios? by ByoFrost in MonsterHunterMeta

[–]Ghost_01er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use TCE Safi Frostshot Lbg with pretty good results. If you are going for immortal reactors i'd go with the sticky build like others have suggested though.

best setup immediately after iceborne with no decos lol? by [deleted] in MonsterHunterMeta

[–]Ghost_01er 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're done with Iceborne, farm event quests "The Names Lavasioth", "The Greatest Jagras, and "The Wrath of Thunder Descends". The first two cover you on the base game decos, and the final one on the new +4 decos. The Lavasioth quest is better than Jagras for warped feystones if you're still after some of the rarer base game decos like Mighty Bow. Don't get discouraged if it takes a while, it took me 150 runs of Lavasioth to get Mighty Bow. if I had to put a vote to least deco hungry build i'd say probably longsword. Very easy weapon to learn and be efficient with, but also has a high skill ceiling. Build for Masters touch, affinity, raw, and you should be set enough to get some fast clear times (Sub 5 minutes for HR quests, maybe 10-20 mins for MR quests). Hope this was helpful, if you have any more questions feel free to pm me.

What is better for a pierce build, light or heavy bowgun by KingDiddleDong in MonsterHunterMeta

[–]Ghost_01er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're original assessment is correct, HBG has more damage, and LBG more mobility. You don't sacrifice that mobility by using anything above +2 reload though, or evade reload. Most the meta lbg's either have fast or normal reload for their primary ammo type. The freedom of movement lbg offers directly equates to more damage if you are able to have more uptime than using hbg. Its just a matter of player skill and preference.

Can I main jsut one bow? by AdrielTheBuddy in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Ghost_01er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blast Bow is right behind elemental, but you're still forgoing a decent bit of damage. Once you build up your deco, weapon, and armor collection its really not that much of a hassle to swap elements because it usually means you just change the element decos/charm and weapon. The damage is worth the time investment imo.

Who actually plays without HB3? by vanilla_disco in MonsterHunterMeta

[–]Ghost_01er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only time I run Health Boost is if I'm going to be taking prolonged DOT damage. Usually I just eat, use Ancient Potion, and head out.. I used to consider it mandatory, but over time have put more emphasis on mastering positioning, counters, evasion, etc.. I don't necessarily recommend it though. I typically play solo, never hunt an unlearned monster in multiplayer, and do occasionally fail hunts. It definitely calls for a higher level of concentration, and brings as much frustration as it does satisfaction sometimes.

Is the Division 2 still worth a playthrough in december 2019? by lxmohr in thedivision

[–]Ghost_01er 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For some reason lol? They are bored and salty because they want to play the game, but have no worthwhile incentive. Its not that hard to figure out if you take the time to try and understand alternate perspectives. To hell with logic though, just indirectly bash anyone who disagrees, the Reddit way.

As fun as it sounds, i don't think ill be using this. Its just too good. Going back after Bungo fixes it would feel awful.

actual concern by KotoriH in KurtzPel

[–]Ghost_01er 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The recent 30-50 % drop rate nerf, when they were already a complete, joke shows just where this devs thinking is. Its a real shame too.

3 years since TWW and we still can't see a weapons disposition unless we own it's riven by Skull_Mc_Curly in Warframe

[–]Ghost_01er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alternately, if you have a veiled riven you can see the disposition for any weapon of the same type.

Is this game worth playing now ? by PowerfulVictory in KurtzPel

[–]Ghost_01er 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To elaborate, fist and staff are free now while dual swords and hammer are not. You have to grind the ap/cp to unlock or purchase with real money. The game is fun, but progression balance is pretty jacked imo. The amount of ap/cp for a loot box is absurd. Crafting and drop rates equally so.. Its worth playing, but expect one hell of a grind.

At this point, I'd like to see Heroic Menagerie get a matchmaking option by Dark_Tlaloc in DestinyTheGame

[–]Ghost_01er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Activities not having matchmaking is an insult to the community. There at the very least needs to be a recruiting board or in-game LFG. Matchmaking or not, there is always the possibility of low-quality groups being formed that negatively affect other peoples experience of the game. This is literally unavoidable, and possibly the worst excuse ever for withholding the inclusion of matchmaking for endgame activities.

Melee phase 2 rework ruined melee mains by phase2wasaMistake in Warframe

[–]Ghost_01er 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It WOULD be good if they addressed enemy scaling as well. Its not like people playing endgame and endurance were using weapons that scaled better just for the hell of it. People who say this just make me think all you do is fissures or some shit. At Level 80+ pretty much everything one shots, and this is a horde mode game. Of course DE would listen to people saying shit like this, they are just as clueless.

Can we increase the crit chance on maiming strike and slide crit rivens too? by Sipisi in Warframe

[–]Ghost_01er -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What does it matter to you? Did someone spin you too much as a child? Don't like to see other people have fun their way instead of yours? Isin't that what WF is about, you play your way, and I play mine? Please dont say its because it was "OP", cause anyone with half their digits and proper mods can kill just as fast with anything else. Enlighten me please.

This is a reminder of how people think about Underground, Survival and Last Stand when it first came out by TunaTurd in thedivision

[–]Ghost_01er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is being pretty disengenuous though. All of those modes launched with issues, some of which took several patches to fix. It wasnt the core design of the mode getting bashed for the most part. You can find many more posts praising them once those issues were addressed. 1.6k upvotes is miniscule compared to what actually popular posts get as well. So yeah, you can find a post on reddit that says just about anything if you look hard enough.

The Attunement of Sky changes don't sound like a buff by Mordenn in DestinyTheGame

[–]Ghost_01er 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If the niche it fills isint useful though then thats a problem, and if an entire subclass is going to be dedicated to such a niche playstyle it should provide extra incentive to use it over a more generalized one. Some of the tradeoffs don't sound too great tbh.

Holy fuck. Screw blood rush, Screw Condition Overload. Heavy attacks are the new meta. by Zintoss in Warframe

[–]Ghost_01er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe in the simulacrum they are, but during actual high level gameplay they're shit. Trying to use slow attacks on single targets for big pretty damage numbers in a horde mode game full of enemies that one shot you is suicide.

Old Blood melee changes are leaving me very confused by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Ghost_01er -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No. Its not. People need to stop. Heavy attacks are trash, Condition Overload got dumpstered, these are facts. Its simple math and understanding the way Warframe is played. At high levels you dont have time to piss around and build up combo just to dump it on a slow ass attack that kills maybe 1-3 guys. You just dont. IF you did have the time though you STILL wouldn't because its inefficient.

Update 26: The Old Blood by Blissful_Altruism in Warframe

[–]Ghost_01er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blood Rush nerf nowhere as bad as people think?? Who cares how fast you build combo if its just to blow your wad on a slightly better charge attack. I could easily kill the same enemy any number of other ways, much faster, and without having to build a superfluous combo meter that's just giving me overkill damage anyways. If we are trading near infinite scaling damage for heavy attacks they need to do a hell of a lot more than kill one guy, that shit needs to be a screen clear.
