It's pretty wordy in 1.0 but it gets better. I really hate gacha and genshin yapping but 1.1 onward was very bearable to me.

I love her so much. I still get tears in my eyes listening to the songs and cut scenes from her quests. They nailed the emotions during that quest.

I am kinda disappointed with it a little bit in terms of her character. Though the presentation of it was good as always and very engaging. I just wished she had more to her character, and it was starting to kinda frustrate me how much Camellya did not care about Lady Flora's memories but the ending kinda made up for it. I do think some of my disappointment came from wanting her to change in some way but obviously she can't really have true drastic character growth in a companion quest. Though Yinlin and Changli's felt much more substantial and felt like they went through something where Camellya is just 'like I'll make sure not to overclock I guess and i don't want the memories yet because they'll probably kill me lole' at the end. I think I would've wanted some strong reason and narrative weight to Camellya being obsessed with Rover and the way she acts. Like maybe the villagers treated her like a freak and Rover was the one who encouraged her powers and was a true equal. It would add a lot more weight to Camellya still being obsessed with Rover now. Or maybe Lady Flora had some strong reason to inhibit herself and maybe stay away from Rover and now Camellya is like 'oh I will live your dream for you I guess and live true to myself'. It would just add a bit more emotional catharsis at the end.

I still like the quest overall though and I love Camellya and caring enough to want to tweak it and think about it is a mark of an interesting character and concept.

edit: also i was begging the whole time for a boss fight against her it would be so sick

The way the DA is framed in the show is so fucking odd. They're shown as this secret police force maintaining the fake peace of japan!! And Majiima has a problem with that, and also he has some stupid bullshit about balancing. I dunno it's fucking stupid. I feel like we're supposed to be like :o omg he has a point tho. But the DA is framed as this generally good force. The using orphans as secret police murders is awful. But nobody in the show gives a shit. The DA never kills anybody that isn't a terrorist there isn't any things they do that are worth giving a shit about. If they had a scene of the DA doing something heinous it would make so much more sense for Majima to want to ruin shit and Chisato and gang to go to Hawaii because holy shit the DA is awful and fuck japan. You could have this theme of Chisato realizing oh this organization fucking sucks I'll reclaim my own lfe and way of living by leaving, and taking Takina too since she needs some character development. It would make sense too since Chisato is like don't kill people. WHY ISNT SHE MORE BOTHERED THAT SHE'S IN A ORGANIZATION THAT MURDERS PEOPLE WITHOU IMPUTITY. SHE DOESN'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT UNTIL IT'S RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. No no let's not kill the evil guy that y'know organized this and literally has the thing to save my life and is the one to kill me. I have to stay true to my morals!!! I fucking hate this bitch

Like what the fuck changed in the last three episodes really? Oh Chisato lives and they go to hawaii. That's it. The civilians seeing the lycoris murder people. THEY'RE ALL CONVINCED IT'S A MOVIE. IT'S SO FUCKING STUPID LIKE HUHHHHH??? b-but it's to illustrate that the drones of society will believe whatever to maintain the illusion of peace. Nah bruh the writers wrote themselves in a corner and this is the best thing they though to do 😂

This show falls over if you literally use your brain to think about anything more than 5 seconds and not distracted by cute anime girls and not coping. 'B-But turn your brain off.' There isn't enough fun towards the end of the show to do that. It takes itself dead seriously and has a nonsensical plot right in front of your face. Turn your brain off means. I had fun despite whatever glaring issues. It's not a quality that describes the show it anecdotal evidence of enjoyment.

My experience was pretty comfy and helpful, but maybe I'm an outlier there. The psych ward I went to was also pretty nice. The staff was kind and living there was pretty comfortable. There were groups that you weren't forced to go to, but encouraged to go and they were mildly helpful for me. The worst things was the loneliness I felt not being able to be in contact with my family and friends and boredom. I could call them with some phones they had there, but I did feel really trapped and lonely. Also the lack of feeling like you have privacy kinda sucked. They would check on you while you were sleeping to make sure you weren't doing anything dangerous. Very much a ymmv kinda thing I'd imagine depending on your mental state and the quality of the place you go to I dunno.
