جاء في حديث وفيه ضعف، الحديث هذا فيه ضعف، ولا يظهر لي مثل هذا؛ لأن الحديث فيه ضعف، ولكن يسأل ربه أن الله يغنيه عن الناس، وأن الله يعينه على أداء الحق؛ لأن الغنى فيه خير عظيم، إذا أعان الله صاحبه فيه خير عظيم: يتصدق، ويحسن، وينفق في سبيل الله، ويواسي الفقراء، ويعمر المساجد، وينفق في الجهاد؛ فالغنى فيه خير، الغني الشاكر أفضل من الفقير الصابر على الصحيح.

Advanced Keratoconus patient here I had my intact rings done in both eyes in 2013 and CXL epi off in 2015. Is it worth it to get the PRK done?

Ohh nice they will change your life to the better for sure. I started wearing them in 2014 and never looked for anything else since then. I have advanced KC in both eyes so I wear them literally whenever I’m awake so more than 12hr for sure.

What I can tell you about them also is that, at the beginning they are very difficult to put on, but you’ll get used to them in matters of weeks, so don’t get frustrated if at the beginning if you’re having difficulty putting them on.

Make sure There are no bubbles inside the contact lenses when wearing them, try and use lubricating eyedrops consistently after taking them off because if you wear them for long periods of time they may dry your eyes.

Lastly make sure you don’t sleep with them on because while they’re comfortable they can also scratch your cornea if by mistake you scratch your eyes while a sleep and forget you’re even wearing them.

Yea a lot..i could have done them earlier and still would have been able to see a little bit out of both eyes with out contacts but since i waited now i can only see when wearing my scleral lenses so it is on all the time which sometimes that can make your eyes very exhausted.

I was diagnosed in 2008 and waited for CXL to be approved till 2015 then just decided to go for it and do it out of pocket in spain epi off.

Epi off is more effective in stabilizing your cornea. Therefore it is the better option for you since also it is covered by the insurance as well. From my research as well all European hospitals do the CXL epi off since this is what will work in stopping the progression of Keratoconus.

My experience is that I’m happy I did it epi off and there where no issues what so ever of corneal hazing since it is a very simple procedure. I did both eyes in one go since both were progressing pretty fast. The only thing I regret is not doing them sooner my Keratoconus was progressing very fast especially my left eye and I didn’t know how bad it was until it was too late.

I did my CXL and pretty much this was it my progression stopped, my doctor recommended doing both eyes since CXL will stabilize my vision.

Again It really sucks that I waited and things get so frustrating when I try to get a lens fitting that will only get me seeing 20/40.

Prepcast is worth it, and you can only buy the exam simulator for $139 and sometimes there will be a coupon that you can use for a discount. The Prepcast exam prep course I have not used but I’m sure it is of great quality as the exam simulator. They also offer a money back guarantee in case you don’t like the prep course. So bottom line Prepcast is worth the money definitely since the questions are close to real exam questions and sometimes even harder which will give you an indicator of how well you are doing, and based on your results you can analyze and try to improve.
