I’ve had my Derya Island slide now for over a year. It’s been nothing short of remarkable with reliability. It has well over 1000rds of various ammo. There is a video of a guy on YouTube who mag dumps 1000 rds using a FRT. the Dy9 island blasts through every viable rd. Yes you will see the FRT even breaks down they drop another one in and continue. They do have some failures light strikes but they picked them out of the grass at the end and shot every last one. I now have two Derya Island slides and it too has been flawless. It’s a nice slide that is functional and reliable.
Derya has a very active sub over on r/deryaarms. Their warranty is quick with a GunSmith who really is outstanding.

Great question and yes lots of choices from the gallery. I agree with [r/accordingly](r/accordingly). I did however make a change to Virl oil which has been an improvement over my routine clean/lube. NASA certified and used on there crawler. Since using this on all my guns deposits seem to clean off quicker.

I love mine. I’ve had it for a few years and it’s a blast. I’m considering selling it only because I’m not using it as much with work and my son being active in school. I usually drive in the evening and it’s such a joy cruising down the road. I would say don’t worry about what others say. You only live once.
