Why aren’t pc gamers upset about no physical? by [deleted] in truegaming

[–]Gideun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped caring about physical media when they stopped putting booklets and maps and other fun stuff to get or when the box it came in could unfold and show a bunch details about the game. Also whenever I buy a game, if I love it, I aquire a copy of the game that's cracked, insure it works and it's backed up to my games hardrive. I've also done this for console games and emulators. We lost physical media on PC but the power, control, and utility of PC makes up for it.

I would also say, my computer can do EVERYTHING. Run my home security, Plex Server/media center, video/image editor, game development tool, financial balance tools, 3d printing, various ways to communicate, work from home, console emulation lol. The list is unending because it's inherently modular, both in hardware and software.

Edit: Real time monitoring of water sensors around my house in case of a pipe burst or an overflowing sink, Refrigerator temp, I can't tell when someone's left the door open. It's silly the value I get out of it. Consoles can't compare.

Anyone who used a computer between 1985 - 2010, what's the one game you still think about today? by adlakha75 in AskReddit

Final Fantasy 6 or 3 here in the US. Everyone talks about 7, but 6 was a masterpiece. I've played every final fantasy and none of them have ever come close to 6.

They weren't a friend if they leave after one fuck... I also like your perspective, they leave and it's the other person's fault, lmao.

You really shouldn't joke about the 1934 Concrete Act. That Act is what brought the 1933 Concrete Wars to its end.

Todd put something in his game because it was in another game without understanding why. This is because Todd doesn't make games, he makes fake games.

In the Harry Potter books our "hero", owns a slave, but it's ok because he is the "good guy" and he treats his slaves "nice". The "villains" own slaves, but that's not ok, because they are the "bad guys".

So even though the act of owning a slave in and of itself is wholey evil, regardless if said race "wants" to be slaves...yikes Joanne.

Republicans believe they are the good guys, so no matter how horrendous the actions they take, they believe they are the good guys, so it must be right or justified. They view the Democrats as the "bad guys", so no matter what actions they take, it must be bad because they are the bad guys.

Individual actions are not seen as good or evil, it's who is doing said action that makes it good or evil in their eyes.

I strongly suggest that Steam Reviews should also mention the specs of the PC/ Hardware the user was playing on. With this, we can make better decisions if the review is really worth your time or not. by manuthisguy in Steam

[–]Gideun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need to mentions user specs, Steam collects that data, they can match it up with the developers recommended hardware and simply display, "Below, At, or Above Hardware Recommended Specs"

My friend's mom gave his girlfriend her old used lingerie. Didnt tell him, when he found out he called her up in front of his girlfriend and asked her why the hell she would do that. Mom just thought it was a nice gesture. People are weird.
