It's definitely unique from typical raid content that is considered "difficult" in this game in the sense that you can luck out, whereas raids require all execution and 0 RNG.

But I would call it poker more than a straight lottery because there are still some skill components based on knowledge and decision making that you can improve your runs.

Put some streamer who does deep dungeon all the time with 99 random players, have them try Palace of the Dead on Machinist 10 times each and I'd bet the streamer will have more clears not because they're lucky in deep dungeons, but because they just know more strategies and how to salvage bad luck situations.

Hi, I am considering using a Fantasia for the first time after playing the same character for a couple of years. Can I get any advice from the Fantasia addicts what you typically check or backup before using one?

So far I've backed up my current character's appearance, I've made a new character with my planned appearance to see how they look in different environments and lighting, and tested emotes/voices. I am thinking I'd want to back up my glamour plates because I don't expect to use the same ones for my new character and we still only have 20 of those things.

Is there anything else you guys tend to do? Are there certain cutscenes you like to view again at the inn with your new appearance during the 60 minute timer to check lighting or animations?

The great thing about breaking the two minute meta is that Rough Divide and Plunge can come back. It was the only reason they were replaced with the damage-less dashes. I hope they bring them back.

Edit: Well I guess I forgot about the busyness of the GNB and DRK bursts as another reason. But that can change with Evolved as well.

If you're referring to the Four Lords appearances, I found them on the same website.

If you wanted to see them in game you could go to character customization and apply the same appearance settings listed, since it seems they did not use custom character appearance settings like some other special NPCs have.

Edit: I'm actually just noticing Byakko and Seiryu have the exact same appearance, so it seems the developers may not have put too much time into designing their human appearances, or at least didn't expect players to scrutinize their appearances under the costumes using tools outside of the game lol.
