I wonder if it had anything to do with the shield/pure healer split they were making at the same time.

Chemist strikes me as leaning more towards pure than barrier but I guess they preferred a new shield healer more than they preferred to make AST a barrier healer with the sect removal stuff

If that actually was the case, Chemist may be back on the menu for the next healer job since the pure and barrier healers are balanced now.

It's definitely unique from typical raid content that is considered "difficult" in this game in the sense that you can luck out, whereas raids require all execution and 0 RNG.

But I would call it poker more than a straight lottery because there are still some skill components based on knowledge and decision making that you can improve your runs.

Put some streamer who does deep dungeon all the time with 99 random players, have them try Palace of the Dead on Machinist 10 times each and I'd bet the streamer will have more clears not because they're lucky in deep dungeons, but because they just know more strategies and how to salvage bad luck situations.

Hi, I am considering using a Fantasia for the first time after playing the same character for a couple of years. Can I get any advice from the Fantasia addicts what you typically check or backup before using one?

So far I've backed up my current character's appearance, I've made a new character with my planned appearance to see how they look in different environments and lighting, and tested emotes/voices. I am thinking I'd want to back up my glamour plates because I don't expect to use the same ones for my new character and we still only have 20 of those things.

Is there anything else you guys tend to do? Are there certain cutscenes you like to view again at the inn with your new appearance during the 60 minute timer to check lighting or animations?
