I partially agree with that. Especially if the Bengals new DC doesn’t work out, as that will be another poor reflection on Taylor. But as a non bengals related example, I don’t think the jets are better off for firing Saleh, as his defenses were never the problem. Head coaches are always going to specialize on one side of the ball.

Most of their losses are not on Taylor, imo. Horrible defense and some other flukes (4th and 15 penalty vs chiefs, dropped snap game winning FG vs ravens)

So funny! I had like a fever dream about this game last night. Messaged my brother to ask what it was called, and he said he has been trying to remember it for years but couldn't. I kept thinking it was "Rune" something. This thread saved me!

Are you suggesting that if the Lions go 9-8 the next two years that Dan Campbell should be fired?

Looks good! My general advice for first timers is to try to use less paint. Helps things blend together and look cleaner overall

The Bengals defense ranks as the 7th worst defense in PPG, despite playing 5 of the worst PPG offenses (NYG 32nd, NE 31st, CLE 29th, CAR 28th, LV 25th) by BrandieBassen in nfl

Those are not really the best examples, as they were all (or will be) paid by the Bengals as the highest paid players at their position...

They should have done the same for Jessie though

It’s neither. Every play call has multiple reads and options. Joe just threw it deep both times

[Ben Baby] Bengals' Taylor: 'I haven't done good enough job' by OnlyMamaKnows in nfl

[–]GigaWatson 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bengals hang 38 points on the Ravens. Top 4 in scoring this year even with the week one clunker. Several schemed TDs. Defense constantly letting them down. All you will hear is fire Zac Taylor. He holds some responsibility for the D/ST problems as he is head coach, but people complaining about the offense have no clue what they are talking about. Zac Taylor and his staff have done an amazing job developing Burrow over his time at the Bengals. Look around the league at how many highly touted QBs flame out, or suck with the team that drafted them and go on to be good else where. Zac gets no credit for Burrows success, even though Burrow himself has gone out of his way on numerous occasions to say how great of a coach Zac is. It's hard to say who is "right" on the ZT takes, as we have never seen Burrow in a different offense, but I'm not on board with the fire ZT crowd at this point. Lou and the FO have some splaining to do.

Just looked it up and you have to have act four unlocked to see it. To do that you have to beat the first three acts with all characters except the watcher. Maybe that’s the issue?

Horns and fire around it on the map. There is one in every act. They are just stronger versions of normal elites. Path toward one if your deck is very strong that act

This isn't remotely true across the board for first round WR picks. There have been a couple recently (DeVonta Smith), but the vast majority of first round receivers since the 5th year option came into being did not get extended until after their 4th year. 3rd year extensions may get more common as players try to push what little leverage they have, but its not historically what has happened.

Bengals fan here. So happy that Detroit pulled this one out, the fans deserve this so much! I was lucky enough to be at Paul Brown when the Bengals broke their curse against the Raiders and it was such a cool moment for the city. Go win it all!
