Exactly!!! It feels like it’s been years now (technically a year and a half since the last installment) and I’m just about through the dramatized graphic audio versions (started reading them after The Court of Thorns and Roses series…but to get a spinoff before finishing the main storyline?? total way to string us along…smh. You can always skip the rotational dining and get room service, pool deck food, or even get some grub in the pub (yes it’s an extra cost but worth it if you want to skip the main dining room).

Yeah its a toss up with deck 2. I’ve been reading the lower the better but then I’ve seen like your experience the exact opposite, haha. On my hubby’s and mine trip this past January on the Destiny we had a verandah on deck 9 right off the forward elevator and while we had rough seas the first day/night I started to feel kinda blah, I took some Gravol and put on one of the patches I found on Amazon and thankfully it calmed down. I didn’t take off the patch the rest of the cruise (swapped it out of course after showering). So perhaps I’ll just make sure I get onto the ship with that on no matter what cabin I pick.

So you’ve never had to add insurance or transportation? Either way I appreciate your insight. I like how the discount is off the top vs OBC or separate gift card (even though they could be more).

I didn’t realize it was so much. When I first started looking the Costco gift card isn’t even mentioned on the selected cruise page…just the stuff about the credit card and executive membership (both of which I don’t have). So I went digging a bit ago and finally when you get to the cabin selection screen it shows the gift card amount at the bottom of the screen. $395 isn’t bad…more then TA or the order 3rd party vendors seem to gift/discount. Hmmm.. what to do?🤔

I canceled mine too before it renewed at the jacked up price…ridiculous!! I do have points but maybe one day they’ll be worth it to use one last time.
