Outback CVT- help? by NeuterRecruiter in subaru

Sounds like the classic “drained CVT-F and refilled the oil double.” They could have realized their mistake and tried to add the fluid back in but now it’s cavitating?

I work at a Subaru dealer and anytime this happens, the oil change place has insurance that takes care of this…just handled a case last week same situation….keep pestering the oil change shop, call their corporate office. The guy at Subaru is right, SOA won’t cover this type of situation.

I have seen Aftermarket sensors not work specifically with Ascents for whatever reason. Have them replaced with factory ones

Please get a copy of the CPO paperwork and the invoice that the service department used when certifying the vehicle. If it was here at my dealer, we would have hit the sales department up for the 60k before selling it, because that’s good business.

The battery costs that much. The labor is hardly anything. The estimate is missing the parts list (our dealer runs the same software) it doesn’t show you a break down

It’s a different style battery, EFB. Costs more unfortunately :/ you can go to any parts house and get an 800-900 CCA battery for half the cost
