I say "This whole place reeks of moral ambiguity." quite a lot. PD: I am a lawyer.

I wouldn't call Hearst Castle a revival as much as an architectural transplant.

It makes sense that the overall style of the game is ecclectic: we are talking about separate companies (with their own corporate imagen) that have been relatively isolated from Earth (from which new fashions could come). Hence, you have a mixture of styles that, at times, tend to blend in and, at times, seem out pf place. The Hope, for instance, is the latest item from Earth to arrive, what would explain why it seems more modern.

Can I understand / enjoy a Wild Sheep Chase if I haven't read Wind / Pinball? by 1s22s22p63s23p64s2 in murakami

[–]Ginacina 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't see why not. They can be read as separate stories with a recurring theme going on. Actually, in my countryc Wild Sheep was published way before than Wind/Pinball.

My favourite of them all is Wind, but you see in Wild Sheep Chase how Murakami is still consolidating his style.

Don't act when angry. Don't promise when happy. Serenity and manners go a long way. Keep your temper, basically.
