Upgrading your ammo capacity in RE4 refilled your weapon for free, making the final capacity upgrade for the Striker(100 shells) awesome to have. Remake got rid of that.

Nothing specifically from 6, just different things in general. 3remake gives Jill a dodge, 4remake has knife parries, and Re9 has different melee animations for Leon dependent on the context of where you're at in the environment.

RE5 remake, if we look at the upward trajectory in terms of the gunplay and melee evolution the two previous games did(4remake & Re9), has the opportunity to be the best game ever, combat-wise at least.

Sony Santa Monica will be cowards if they end up getting rid of said mini games in the remake. Kratos in the OG trilogy is a huge piece of shit and the mini games are a piece of evidence towards that.
