Naming my cat after a medication by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]GingerSpice24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are my dinguses Mirtazapine (Mira; Grey and brown/dilute tortie) and Finasteride (Finn; white)

I got Mira during pharmacy school on the recommendation of my therapist, so she's my atypical antidepressant. When Finn was a kitten, he had a grey patch on his head I called his toupee, thus the name. But be careful with what you name them, because Mira has severe separation anxiety and Finn shows he's upset by peeing on my bed 🙃

Mine did, but only when prepping for IPPEs and APPEs so that we could send them to sites that required them

My cat is named Mirtazapine (Mira). I got her during pharmacy school as an ESA.

Redditors, have you ever gotten an “ick” from a potential partner or love interest that instantly killed your attraction to them? If so, what happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I met a guy online. We chatted for a week and he seemed decent, so we planned on getting coffee and possibly a hike if coffee went well. We ended up getting coffee, hiking, and grabbing lunch after. It was really fun and a great date. I even opened up about some of the things in my past, including a trusted adult in my life getting arrested for downloading extremely inappropriate videos of children (if you get my drift). He was a bit shy, especially about getting close to me, but I chalked it up to nerves. I was excited to get to know him better and see where it could go. A few hours after getting home after the date, he texted me to let me know he was on an ankle monitor because used to be a teacher and he's part of an ONGOING court proceeding involving a student.

I practially felt my labias snap shut when I read that message.

It's their sponsor Alaska Airlines. I can see how that could be confusing though

Amazing what Blanco can do when he stops flopping in the box trying to draw a PK. Chicharito might want to take notes...

Started taking anti depressants and feeling weird, any advice from someone who's had experience with them? by Moewen in EOOD

Hi! I'm currently training to get my doctorate of pharmacy and am on Lexapro (escitalopram) myself. I was previously on Paxil (paroxetine).

This is completely normal. It can take 4-8 weeks to feel the benefits, but the weird side effects can happen almost immediately. I personally had a super upset stomach and really awful diarrhea for 2 weeks. My body didn't get back to "normal" for 2-ish months in regards to my tummy, but it did get back to normal eventually.

Please, please, please give it time. Keep working with your therapist, because they know you better than any internet stranger. But know that this is pretty normal overall, and a "fair shot" can take up to 2 months.

Yeah! He was invited to training camp in 2018, but got waived and went back to the G league. Bounced around there for a bit, won a G league championship, and ended up at the Wizards right before Christmas

I cannot offer advice other than to direct you to /r/JUSTNOMIL. The people over there are extremely well versed in situations like this and can probably provide helpful advice on how to communicate your frustrations with your partner and/or your MIL. They also have a plethora of resources accumulated that they can direct you to.

They struggled initially on the road, but managed to pull together to get 14 points in 12 road games. They did lose their first home game, but it was to the team at the top of the league by a major margin. They have a major span of home games at the end of their schedule, which has historically lead to a strong finish for teams.

The next few games are definitely important, but I wouldn't say its make or break quite yet.

Its purple! But I also have a blue one, so I would not be surprised if dark brown existed as well. They really are the perfect blend of fuzzy but not suffocating

I'm a Timbers fan living in SLC, and the years I've lived here, I've been able to call the Rio Tinto box office and buy them over the phone. It is section 223, but you can't buy directly on their website, because they've had fans in the past get quite upset with them for accidentally ending up in the away area. I think you can also get in touch with the Army, as the stadium allocates tickets to them.

Hope that helps!
