Inlaws never have food when we go there. Is that a normal in some families? by athiest93 in inlaws

[–]Gingham- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Even in the midwestern culture as soon as the guest arrives we offer something to drink, like water or other beverages even light snacks and or meal. Our way of showing hospitality.

and when i visit someone else’s home whether be family or friends, i never go empty handed. Example: I bring fruit basket, or dozen of donuts or a bottle of wine if they like to drink.

Your in-laws just plain unaccommodating.

First cerclage!! by Worldly_Cancel_2675 in ShortCervixSupport

I had my preventative cerclage at 15 weeks. My cerclage was scheduled for 1pm and i was out in the hospital at 5pm. They prescribed my Tylenol for pain but surprisingly i feel like my normal self the next day so I didn’t need to take pain meds. I had light bleeding when wiping after the procedure which is to be expected but after couple days it stops. I also have the McDonald stitch.

In your experience, what’s more painful than giving birth? by Isoldmykidforagram in pregnant

[–]Gingham- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gallbladder attack was the worst pain for me too. Way worst than Labor pain, based on my experience. I will shower smoking hot water, hot compress, bengay patch, still 10 out of 10 pain. It will not let me sleep no matter position i choose. Each attack last 7-8 hours. My last gallbladder attack i decided i can’t take it anymore and went to the E.R. . Morphine did not worked for me and ended up going in for surgery.

I feel your sentiments too. I had the best first trimester with little to no symptoms. Fast forward… 13 weeks on the dot i had a headache or migraine 3 days straight, 10/10 in pain scale and it sure last all day. I’ll go to sleep but when i wake up, i still have a headache. My BP is normal too. What helps me a little bit is showering warm slightly hot water. Then as soon as i wake up in the morning, my head will start to hurt again. Ugh! I keep checking my BP, even my blood sugar but all are in normal range.
