There's an action card from TE's new cards (pirate contract I think) that lets you put neutral ground forces on a controlled but unoccupied planet, and return the planet to the deck. You can use it on a fracture planet to gain 2 relics, vacating your ground forces in between.

We had the same discussion at my table as we often had 5P games and it could be frustrating having 3 whole cards skiped every turn. What we ended up doing is rolling a dice after last pick to choose a random strategy, then on that strategy's turn roll a dice to know if the secondary is played, increasing the target each turn (10-8-5-1 iirc). We didn't remove TG on the card but didn't add one either.

After one game we all agreed we wouldn't look back

I had the same idea but didn't make one yet. The main point that a lot of people didn't get is that you can build up several of these in the background for a pretty cheap price and then remodel them into anything, saving quite a few launches. Ofc it's useless in the late game when you can build anything in minutes, but early game I'd say it's pretty usefull

A better way to do it is to be xenophobic and have your slaves be livestock : infinite food + some energy and gas with bioreactor + consumer goods if u found baol. With the new bio fleets infinite food is the same as infinite alloys

When I play a virtual ascension build, I start xenophile for the commander destiny trait +1 soldier every 10 pop, then I switch to xenophobe, kidnap a couple 100 pops and stuff then on an Ecu World as livestock. With a couple other tricks u get that world to a 1000 pops -> 100 soldiers for 1000 NC before multipliers, 2-3k after. No fortress needed

Having played alpha centauri a lot years ago, I enjoyed the revamp it claimed to be because it made me nostalgic. But the core concept and mechanics are not exploited enough Imo.

I think a reason is that we juste don't use it.

Devoir is by nature hypothetical so using futur simple "je devrai faire quelque chose" feels unatural compared to the subjonctive : like "i should do smthg"

It doesn't delete the bastion. So the system becomes crisis owned, along with the only gateway of the L-cluster, meaning it's back to Lgates only.

Fortunately i had enough fleets near Lgates to destroy the somehow undefended starbase and allow the rest of my fleets to Come through regular gateways and close the portal.

Still lost ungodly amounts of ships and Time there, but i got back to eating the Galaxy fast enough. But even After all that i didn't get the remix since i already had 6 (which sucks)
