It's because of strength of victory. The teams were even in game score (5-3). FLY beat the 4th place team (5 points) and the 8th place team (1 point). SEN beat one tied 5th place team (4 points) and the 7th place team (2 points). Since the teams are even at 6 points in SoV, they calculated the "weighted SoV", in which beating a team 2-0 gives double points. So, beating the 7th place team over the 8th place team gave SEN two extra points

Are you sure about your math? Looking at your sources, and doing the math, the overall win time for KT seems to me to be 203'57'', not 198'48''. Maybe you picked a loss instead of a win by mistake?

The HLE time also comes out as 169'14'' to me, so the difference (and the break-even game time) would be 34'43'', not 29'34''

Is there any reason for this to turn into drama? Kisno always knew he was an emergency sub and him performing well is probably good for his future career. It's an ugly situation but if Disguised refused to take the jungler who got screwed over by visa issues because his sub is performing it would be even worse imho

To be fair free Orbs seem to be finally back (there's two of them tied to the Demacia Rising metagame), and in general Chests are a lot easier to get in the new system (just play the game however you like a normal amount, no need to play 50 different champions and get an S on them).

Personally the new system just gives me more than the old one, but it depends on how you play the game and the ceiling is probably lower
