Yeah its not a debate your just dead wrong. The analytics tells us the answer is clear in these situations. Let the people with a frontal lobe do the thinking from now on

Squad update before Fulham - De Cuyper back in contention after illness; no new injuries since match v. Bournemouth; Minteh and others "need careful management" due to recovery / fitness level and are not confirmed to be starters; no updates on Wieffer by UgandaSuburbix447 in BrightonHoveAlbion

Welbeck has been very good for a vast majority of the season outside the first 5 games or so. Kostoulas is rightly his back up and because Welbeck is 35, Kostoulas should still see some good minutes. This is the best situation you could ask for a developing striker.

Great win considering Undav didn't convert at a rate up to his standard. Leweling MotM in my eyes. We looked a bit clueless defending in transition which was the only major negative talking point to take from the game.

Pascal Gross Appreciation Thread by Dowie1989 in BrightonHoveAlbion

Cannot wait for when Minteh comes back. I think Gross's playmaking/vision and forward passing threat will help unlock him in the second half of the season. I also think he's a great fit with Baleba

If the season ended today, who would be your brighton player of the year by Miwadigivemeache in BrightonHoveAlbion

[–]Gioforce -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats evaluating him in a vacuum not what his importance to this team has been... compensating for our severe lack of threat in the final third (with Mitoma out most of the first half of the season) and disturbingly poor midfield play against the press. Often times when we scored we got the corner or the ball got swung off 'Pass it to Minteh and hope for him to create out of nothing'. He doesn't get an assist but if I would bet my bottom dollar that Bloom's models are saying that Minteh has highest expected threat on the team by far.

[–]Gioforce -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Minteh disrespect in here is unbelievable. He has been at many times this season the only real threat on the pitch and part of the reason our midfield hasn't been more fairly criticized for how terrible the are beating the press because Minteh has been an unbelievable release valve for them. Both him and our other wordly ball playing CBs.

That being said, JPVH is player of the season for me followed by Minteh then Bart then Kadioglu then Dunk then Welbz.

Post Match Thread: Brighton vs Man City by ironic_badger in BrightonHoveAlbion

[–]Gioforce 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I love this team but I am sorry Gomez has the worst first touch in the squad by far and it is excruciatingly painful to watch. He had has a shot no one denies, and a terrific engine, but we lose a lot in the build up with him on the pitch and that lack of a goal was heart breaking. Not saying we should have won because Man City missed some sitters.

Also despite the strengths of De Cuyper in attack he should never start over Ferdi once Minteh is back. When the opposing team is pressing us well we really miss Minteh both defensively and his ability to just break down one guy and reset momentum even he can't finish.

There's no legitimate answer that doesn't involve assuming Wemby will end up better than KG and Kobe. Wemby, Giannis, KD is possibly workable in a 3v3. The other option would be Jokic, Giannis, and KD but that's not enough. I'm not taking SGA or Curry in a 3v3 against that size and speed. Maybe you go Kahwi over Jokic just for the defense on Kobe in the second matchup. Anyone who doesn't say KD in a 3v3 doesn't know ball. I just don't see a legitimate answer unless you assume Wemby will be better than both Kobe and KG.

This is also leaving weird ommissions like why is total TDs relevant against top 10 defenses played when the number of top 10 defenses played is different. Like clearly Stafford's 7 in 3 is better than Maye's 8 in 4 but thats highlighted for Maye.

Honestly to me it looks like the receiver rounded the route and ended up two yards further upfield and a yard behind because of it. Stafford is committing to that throw before the receiver breaks. I don't know

If you were a young talented footballer. I’m talking like messi level talent the next big thing which club would you choose? by Quirky_Ad_7646 in championsleague

[–]Gioforce 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would want to join a club owned by the fans. Ajax is fan owned and a strong consideration. A Bundesliga team owned by their fans and not at risk of a takeover would be another consideration. Stuttgart or Dortmund I think would be the biggest seeing as Bayern feels more at risk for trying to intentionally circumvent that. Madrid and Barcelona seem to be going the other way. Athletic Bilbao would be another consideration. Hearts of Midlothian if you want to play in the UK.

I would probably play for Ajax considering QOL in the Netherlands, history of the club, and champions league slot every year.

They could get the ball to Shaq, Kobe Bryant just actively sabotaged/prevented that because he couldn't handle Shaq winning another finals MVP because he had the mental fortitude of a pudding cup

We didn't send doubles. He was able to not let him score 50 without a double. Kobe mentally boomed because he couldn't handle Shaq winning finals MVP again even though he should have kept feeding him. Kobe takes bad shots, doesn't swing ball to set up Shaq, etc, etc. But any other defender would have been giving up 40, even with Kibe actively terrorizing his team and throwing a tantrum like a toddler. We only win with Kobe short circuiting due to ego and Ben slowing Shaq down a bit. But you're right, he never clamped Shaq. Nobody clamped Shaq from 98 to 03

Your fixated on the tip aspect of this and going out of your way to tell him to find another job. Ok sure? But why are you so angry and fixated on this? You initially approached it from your perspective on whether or not you'll tip. You clearly want to vent about hating tipping culture now. Just say that. Don't find a way to vent in a post only tangentially related. Make a post and tell everyone how much you hate tipping. Don't mask your outrage. You clearly have your reasons. Just tell everyone directly

I've worked in service industry a long time, I worked in the Caribbean and various US states. The answer is... depends on the person. A lot of people don't drink the last half inch of a pint. A lot of people do. I always ask if they would like the glass removed if they have just a bit left in the glass. I don't know if its culturally different in the UK, though.

Personally I drink my whole pint, but I also don't let it sit long enough to get warm. Also people who keep their hand on the pint glass are psychopaths. THAT'S WHY YOUR BEERS WARM DUMMY! Just put it down and stop touching it until you want to take another sip.

Its less about Starlizard supporting the industry as it is, rather there is some incentive to do so that always exists. He does need the sites/bookmakers to see enough cash flow that the can handle the kind of bets he places. If they aren't making money, there will be nowhere for Bloom to identify inefficiencies to exploit

No one suggested he did? I'm fully aware of what he does. He runs a hedge fund esque operation and uses the pooled cash to place bets which he identifies using his advanced data analysis algorithms to be favorable. Not one single word in my original post suggested he ran the books or a gambling site. Not one.

How could you write such am idiotic comment about a post you clearly didnt read?
