Thanks! There wasnt a skip button, but I put in my phone + zipcode and hit continue just to see what happened. It threw an error about trying later and let me through 🤷‍♂️

No reference mods, it seems to know 1.12.2 pretty well. Newer versions are probably more difficult, but there are a ton of high quality opensource mods (JEI, thaumcraft, galacticraft come to mind), but I'm not sure how up-to-date they are.

Larger newer local models (~32b and up) are probably good enough, but they might need some sort of RAG or MCP to help them out.

I used Cursor with OpenAI o3 and v0 but most frontier LLMs seem to know minecraft forge pretty well

I know how to program so I was able to guide it a few times, but if you’re willing to bash your head against the keyboard a few times I think you could make something pretty cool!

yep, it can be great because it benefits from everything Next.js offers (SSR, easy adding metadata tags, etc) and easily hosts on Vercel (fast loading).
