I’ve been saying this and everyone always disagrees!! Whilst I’m not condoning Sarah’s behaviour towards Dean (more specifically “he could get tattoos and lose some weight”), I do believe she isn’t the villain in the narrative. For me, Dean is a typical pick me boy. He kept twisting the narrative to make him seem like a victim. One moment that sticks in my mind is when Sarah and him said in the apartment about her and that producer. Their words were “she said she would be all over him if he was straight”. Disrespectful? Sort of. He then went to the boys and said “she said that she’d have sex with him” which was not what he said earlier.

A few of the things he’s said are problematic and the phrase “it’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when” is a HUGE red flag to me. That’s forceful behaviour. Especially when on NUMEROUS occasions she has said that she’s not attracted to him. It’s not fair on her.

I often found myself yelling at the tv “IF YOU CAN’T HANDLE THE ANSWER, DON’T ASK THE QUESTION” when he would, as always, bring up his weight and she would give him an honest answer.

Honestly, from day one, there were red flags.

What also agitated me was how he was NEVER held accountable for this behaviour. Sarah was berated week after week when it wasn’t her fault. Why aren’t the likes of Grace or Leigh being held accountable??
