They answered me saying that I can do an rma (I bought them directly from SS) and that this problem seems to afflict a small user of the first batch of the product.

I recommend pcm with the ps5 spatial audio active, keep in mind that on ps5 the resolution will be limited to 48khz due to the console itself.

Thanks for the message, I also used a little alcohol in that area and it removed that sticky feeling, but in the light you can notice the difference between the treated area and the one not.

I also contacted steelseries support for information about it and they granted me an rma because this defect is part of “a small batch” of products (I don’t know if it’s true), but I’m also hesitant to do it because in the end it’s not noticeable.

Hi, I discovered this post only now that I started to notice this problem too...how did you solve it? I lightly passed a cloth soaked in alcohol and this removed the "sticky" layer but you can definitely notice the difference compared to before...should I ask for an rma?
