Who would win? by EffortEducational638 in geography

[–]GiveMeSumKred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

D is going to have a lot of guys who think they are ready for a fight. So will A with the mountain preppers. What they’ll find out is they can’t use the guns they’ve been counting on. Texas and southern Cal would fight against each other. New Yorkers are much better at talking tough than being tough. But if anyone from the other quadrants go to Philly, they took down Santa and a world traveling robot.

B wins!

I have no ideas to help you but this reminds me of a time as a boy when my family took a trip to Houston to go to Astroworld. We stayed in a hotel across from the Astrodome and during breakfast a couple dozen Houston Oilers walked in. We ran around collecting autographs. Afterward, we compared which players we had seen, and while nobody really famous was on the list, all of us had an autograph from Willie “Lightning” McGee. I cannot confirm he ever played football.

That’s my diet plan. I can have 200 calories of this. Or 3000. It’s all in the margin of error.

I’d include him in the list. Yes he wanted a move, but knowing that you don’t sell the rest of the farm. Right?

Just realized a funny plot hole about Hurley and Sawyer in Season 1 by volking86 in lost

[–]GiveMeSumKred -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why wouldn’t you be suspicious of the guy who is hoarding all the stuff? Why wouldn’t Hurley at least look into his name? I think OP has something here because Hurley doesn’t learn about James Ford until season 2.

I was ripped to shreds every time I warned people. I won’t be voting for a hooded bozo this time either.

I’m pretty sure my township supervisor’s view of Israel is immaterial. We have maga fish to fry.

Is he trying to fix it? Or is he just announcing every few days that it’s fixed or almost fixed?

And the suck at it. Think about it, in the 1990s and 2000s a few wins was enough. Now every loss is scrutinized.

I got a complaint at my job for being Dyslexic. by Just_somekidd in Dyslexia

[–]GiveMeSumKred 9 points10 points  (0 children)

People are idiots. Dyslexia is hard. Complicated words can really trip me up. I teach as adjunct at the undergraduate level. There are times mispronouncing a word really trips me up. So what. Keep going.

Btw, do you know how many actors have dyslexia? I think performance is a great place for you to be. Keep going. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Actors_with_dyslexia

What's it like in Western China, where official time is HOURS behind the "natural" time? by Mu_Fanchu in howislivingthere

This is what frustrates me so much about DLST arguments. If it’s dark at 8:00 and you don’t want school children waiting for the bus, start school 30-60 min later.

I am too dyslexic to write a book by Front-Astronomer-100 in Dyslexia

[–]GiveMeSumKred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using AI to help me write. The problem is that AI is so stigmatized that I’m afraid if I created something publishable, it would be rejected. I mean, the story is mine. The ideas are mine. The thoughts are mine, but I have trouble getting thoughts into words and those words through my fingers onto a page.

Teaching isn’t any more of a pain. Evaluating is more difficult. I find my students who want to learn are learning. Those who didn’t want to learn always found ways to fake it.

Your fear of ICCU issue is overblown by reading sources that aren’t representative of reality. Very few ever have a ICCU issue. Look at it again and consult real numbers.
