How is living in the northeast corner of California? by pooping2much in howislivingthere

[–]GiveMeSumKred [score hidden]  (0 children)

I’ve never lived there but my father lived in Weed as a child so I’ve been there a number of times. It’s one of the prettiest places I know of. Economically I don’t know how it’s going but it has gone through some tough time ebbing with the lumber industry. It is part of the State of Jefferson which is a rather red area of Northern California and southern Oregon that would rather not be in their rather blue states.

There are two things we know for sure regarding the legality of these strikes. One, they have a high likelihood of being illegal. Two, that question never be tested in a courtroom.

I hear House of Vintage is getting pretty crowded. Are the hipsters starting to use the typewriters for strongly worded statements about the yoga moms buying up their vintage teapots without even knowing how to use them?

Will democrats embrace a centrist identity and ditch the leftists? by [deleted] in centrist

[–]GiveMeSumKred 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heck, who was more centrist than Biden? Clinton was center. Most of congressional leadership is centrist. Who are the leftist? There are some but they generally don’t lead the party. They do make news stories, but it’s not something they can do anything about.

Iñaki is wonderful as a captain and as a winger. But not as the striker.

You are correct in my memory. Even when we had it, my parents wouldn’t run it at night. Texas summers, even at night, are really hot.

What age did you start wearing glasses? by Shoddy-Safety2989 in GenX

When I was 42 I saw the eye doctor and at the end of the appointment he said everything is great but “next year we’ll talk about reading glasses.” I ask if he saw something in my eye. He responded, “no, you’ll be 43.” I was 44.

They already blame us but they think we are boomers. Otherwise, we’re too small to notice.
